“My Wife and I stayed in cabin 3 with Unique Stays and really enjoyed ourselves. The cabin is right on the beach with absolute beautiful views of Lake Huron. Although we were here in the winter, the gorgeous sunrises made it all worth while. The cabin was rustic but well kept and clean. The beds were very comfortable and warm which made for a pleasant, relaxing stay. Our host, Sage, was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this cabin for a small family but might be a little tight for a larger group. There was only one couch to sit on and no dinning table to eat off of. Making it all work and spending time with family or friends is part of the fun and charm!”

“A great getaway to the beach! There are not a lot of restaurants around, but we brought all the food we needed so that was okay with us. The kitchen had mostly everything we needed to cook, but it did not have salt, pepper, oil, aluminum foil, and other simple cooking basics that we didn't bring so make sure you bring everything that you can think of! The beds were comfortable and the area is quiet. It is like having a private beach and sauna to yourself (and whoever else is staying at the four other cottages in the row)! Towels for showering were provided but not beach towels, so make sure to bring that too. We also brought our own firewood to enjoy the firepit at night, and there were so many stars in the sky! Communication with the host was prompt and easy. Thanks for a great stay!”

“Had a wonderful stay at this little cottage! The view was absolutely stunning and I love that it's a waterfront property. The space was clean despite the fact that it's hard to keep sand out of everything. Some things did not function well though. The stove top didn't work but I'm hoping the owner has already fixed that and the water pressure in the shower was not as strong. The cottages were close to town and easy to get to. Overall a wonderful experience!”

“Our goal was to fully unwind during our trip, and this place delivered. Check-in was seamless, and the tiny home was just the right size, with a fantastic location. Stepping out onto the sandy beach each morning was a highlight. However, we immediately noticed a musty odor upon entering. While the space was reasonably clean, the coffee machine was unusable—the water tank appeared neglected, with murky, brown water inside. This meant I had to venture out for fresh coffee each morning, which was disappointing. A bit more attention to dusting and wiping down surfaces would enhance the experience, but overall, it was a pleasant stay.”

“My husband and I and our brother-in-law rented cottage #3 at Huron Shores for two nights while visiting family nearby. The cottage is cute, clean, nicely decorated, smallish and on a beautiful beach. The cottages all have nice front porches facing the lake. At first, I pictured renting in the summer with our grandkids but changed my mind because the cottage lacks things that make a longer stay convenient and relaxing. There's no table and chairs to eat at inside. It's small, but there are solutions to that. It sleeps at least six, yet the only seating is a couch that seats three. There's no place to set drinks or the food you have to eat while sitting on the couch. No hooks in the bedrooms, only one closet has a bar to hang things. The bathroom is nice, but there are no shelves to put stuff on while shaving or brushing teeth. I wish it was better because so much else about it was great.”

“Cute cabins inside and out, nice location. Compared to some others in the area, these cabins are 300 feet or so from the road where as some are very close. Beautiful wide sandy clean beach, nice area for walking along the water for a very long way.”
