“Came here for a weekend with 10 people, five couples. It was a little large for 10 people, I would say it could sleep 12-14 comfortably. There was stuff for children there like a high chair, although we don’t have any children, but nice for those who do! The putting green was very cute and had putters and balls provided. The sauna and hot tub were awesome for a chilly fall weekend but the hot tub did give some of us some skin irritation which was unfortunate. Kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed. Firewood was provided which was nice. The round barn winery/brewery/distillery was amazing! Tabor hill was meh. Watermark brewery is about 20 mins away but worth it, fire pits very cute. And the dive bar called welcome inn (cash only) was super fun. Brunch we went to Nikki’s (cash only) was also lovely and 1.5min from the airbnb. We had a great time here in the berrien springs area! Thank you so much!!”

“We booked this home for a girls weekend reading retreat. Overall we loved the place. The hot tub, sauna, and steam shower were fabulous. The rooms and beds were nice. We did not care for the bunk room - better for children than adults. We would recommend better fitted sheets on the bunk beds. There were plenty of mugs, dishes, silverware, etc. There was plenty of seating for us all eating meals and hanging out. Plenty of towels, wash clothes, toilet paper, paper towel. The river view was nice, though we didn’t go down to it. The host is super responsive. My only complaint is the place was visibly dirty when we arrived. Not horrible but the floors clearly needed vacuumed, there were hairs in the shower, sediment in the tub, leaves and sediment in the hot tub. They responded immediately and offered to reclean, which we accepted. But it was a little frustrating because it interfered with our trip. They were nice and took care of it but I would have preferred not to have had that at all”

The house is large and it is easy to spread out and almost lose track of where everyone is. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need! Check-in and check out we're both straightforward and easy. Our only suggestion would be more seating in the livingroom for such a large home. We very much enjoyed our stay and would be happy to book again!”

“The house was so beautiful, our group was very impressed. Each of the bedrooms were as good or better than what was pictured. We had a wonderful surprise when we entered to see that the ping-pong table was upgraded to a pool table! There were updates in the bathrooms and the deck patio now has a pergola. We loved using the fit pit each night too! The neighborhood was clean and quiet. Sage was in communication with us and answered our questions. The only thing that could have been better was that the outdoor lights were set for only 3 seconds. I am sure they will adjust this going forward. This is a place we would love to come back to again.”

“My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house has plenty of space. We enjoyed breakfast every morning on the patio overlooking the beautiful green space. The kitchen had everything required to cook or bake. The cabinet had seasonings but I had already bought my own. We had minor issues that were quickly resolved. The host are very responsive of which I appreciated. We also enjoyed the river walk behind the home❤️ The property was exactly as described and more the basement has its own kitchen and fridge cool teen space. The bedroom on the main floor, bathroom is large beautiful and tranquil great job!! We definitely will be back…In Berrien Springs most things are at least 20min away including the beach. Overall we enjoyed everything about the property and the host stayed in communication anytime I needed anything.”

“We recently stayed at this beautifully renovated house and had an exceptional experience. The property offers a stunning view of a plantation and lush trees, adding to its charm. The kitchen was very well-equipped, and the house had ample bedrooms to comfortably accommodate our group of 12. The common areas were incredibly spacious, and at no point did we feel crowded. The check-in process was seamless, and the host was extremely responsive and accommodating. The only thing that could make this place perfect would be the addition of a hot tub. We highly recommend this property, especially if you're looking for a peaceful retreat about a 20-minute drive from the beach. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay!”

“We’ve stayed here before and overall, it’s a very nice place. The recent updates to the house were beautifully done, and you can tell real care went into refreshing the space. That’s one of the reasons we chose to return. There were a few issues during this stay that impacted our comfort. The living room windows did not have curtains, which made us feel exposed, especially in the evenings. The home was extremely cold for the first several hours after arrival, and the internet connection was very poor and inconsistent. We wanted to share this feedback honestly, as these things made the stay more challenging than expected. We appreciate the improvements to the home and would welcome any consideration you feel is appropriate. With a few adjustments, this space truly has the potential to be a consistent five-star stay.”
