“Our large group enjoyed our stay very much! The house is beautiful and has plenty of room inside. The only small downside was the driveway— it is very steep and with a house that holds 16 people, it was tricky to fit the vehicles for that many as well. Otherwise, the house was a great fit for our large group and we enjoyed our stay!”

“Very impressive view, inside and out! This home was super spacious for our family trip to spend time together. We easily could have been happy with just the main + upstairs floors, but this home comes with a second full kitchen and living space downstairs too. Super spacious. The multilevel deck is great for enjoying the mountain view and surrounding trees, and the property is very private. (Another small rental shares the driveway but we did not notice any neighbors during our stay.) The larger upstairs kitchen was very well stocked with baking pans, dishes, utensils, and glassware. The decor throughout is very tasteful and the beds all seemed to be comfortable. The weather was too warm to use the hot tub but it seems very new, and the water was crystal clear (rare for a rental hot tub!). The kayak shore on the lake was also nice to have access to. The team was very responsive to any Qs we had, and always super helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this gem of a getaway!”

“The house is large, accommodating, and well put together. Check-in was easy as the instructions were released electronically at the appointed time. The area is lovely and views are generous. The only issues we had were there were some light fixtures that were broken prior to our stay that should be fixed for the next guests. We were also a little taken aback by the amount of money required to return a lost item. There was a $45 "finder's fee", $25 handling fee, and $25 shipping fee (of which if the shipping cost less, it would be prorated). We were only looking to have one toddle size pair of shoes returned and that amount would have been more than double the cost of a brand-new pair of shoes. In the end, the host was unable to find them anyways, so it never went further than communication via messages. Just felt a little like a cash grab when we spend a decent amount of money on the place, paid extra to accommodate our dogs, and I feel were pretty good guests.”

“My group of mothers and daughters truly enjoyed this amazing home and all of the amenities. The view from all levels was beautiful and we loved having all the nature around us. The house isn’t far from the main area in Landrum and Tryon so it was the perfect location for us. Don’t hesitate to book this place.”

The house was clean, and the actual house matched the descriptions in the posting, the location was perfect for what we were looking for i.e. peaceful place away from city. The host Sage was great from starting i.e. from the time I booked the place, she was very helpful and responsive, always quick to answer questions and offered great local recommendations. Staying here is highly recommended and would be happy to return if we plan another get together. The only minor inconvenience was the slow water pressure in the sink of one of the bathrooms, which I think is easy fix for the host.”

The house was clean, spacious, and well-stocked with plenty of towels and amenities for everyone, which made our stay super comfortable. The beds were a bit firmer than we’re used to, but everything else more than made up for it. The AC worked amazingly—kept us cool and comfortable the entire time. We especially enjoyed spending time together using the pool table and playing in the lake with the provided kayak and inflatables. The view was stunning, and communication with the host was smooth and responsive throughout. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, fun, and well-equipped getaway!”

“Extremely responsive and helpful team of hosts. I had an issue with the power (local grid) no fault of the host. The team responded immediately contacting the power company. They assured me they would handle it. I left for diner with friends and the power was back on by the time we got back. The host had great communication and sent me regular updates. I felt like I was in good hands with them. Everything after that point went perfectly! Gorgeous house with plenty of views and private rooms. Everything was as pictured and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies. Easy check in and check out. I would love to stay with this host on my next getaway!”

“We had a wonderful stay here! There was plenty of room for everyone and the layout was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and dining, but be sure to bring any Tupperware/Ziploc bags/foil/etc. that you might need. Host was very friendly and responsive, providing very clear directions on getting to and in the house, and checking in once we were settled to make sure everything was satisfactory. One note… The top bunk on the queen over twin bunk bed is as high as it looks in the picture. I wouldn’t put a young child up there, but my teenager loved it. We would love to stay here again sometime!”

“We loved our stay in this beautiful house with family and friends. The house was set up very nice for kids to enjoy the lower level and adults more the main level. (13 ppl total) Very roomy. Although kids and adults enjoyed many hours on the PAC - MAN game. 😊. Great views and location. We ran out of trash bags on our second day and could have used more towels that were provided. I would recommend bringing towels for the hot tub as you will need them also. We enjoyed some sightseeing around the area with short hikes and waterfalls. Shopping and coffee in Landrum also. Quiet and great views we enjoyed the fire Pit a lot. The charcoal grill is very small and you will need to bring your supplies for that. Would highly recommend a Weber grill that would be a better size or a gas grill. 😊”

“Absolutely loved! It was a huge place and perfect for future planned family events. Decorated adorably. Close to the private lake entrance. Peaceful and quiet. Absolutely loved our time there and can’t wait to return. Sage was quick to respond and helpful. The space is very open and had games and a large kitchen to prepare food and visit. Photos don’t do it justice really. Loved it. - side note - lots of stairs. Probably not the best for someone who can’t walk stairs regularly. But it’s also great exercise for those who can.”

I really liked that the home had 2 living areas so the adults could have conversation upstairs while the kids watched TV downstairs. The upstairs master bedroom and bathroom was enormous! Access to the home was steep but very attainable. There is a 4 car max for a reason!! Our family would definitely stay here again?!”
