Life moves at a slower pace here. You can wander through art galleries or get a great meal at a local restaurant. It sits at the top of the steepest standard-gauge railroad grade in the country. Many of our guests stay at our Saluda Grade Cabins to be close to this charming town.

Hendersonville is known for its apples. If you visit in late summer or fall, you must go to an apple orchard. You can pick your own apples and eat fresh apple cider donuts.
The downtown area is also very walkable. It has wide sidewalks and plenty of benches. You can find unique shops and museums here.
