“We really enjoyed our stay at Eagle’s Nest. It was a beautiful area and cozy but spacious home. Everything was clean and very comfortable. The setting was very peaceful. We rented an AWD crossover type car as others mentioned for the driveway and we didn’t have any problem at all. Sage was a great communicator and was very responsive. There is plenty to do in the area or within a short drive, but still enjoy a peaceful retreat back to the house. I would highly recommend and would stay here again!”

“Overall great stay and saved a family trip on short notice after another rental cancelled. While private with great view, there was a bit of highway noise that by design of the topography couldn't be avoided. Pay attention to the entrance, it was night time when we arrived and we could very easily see address numbers for other places but because of the wood/black sign with black #s for this address, we drove past it. If you see a # very close to the address # of this location, it is likely the same entrance as it is a shared drive. Would recommend some better reflective numbers for the address sign for nighttime arrivals. Steep drive wasn't a problem for a Jeep Wagoneer but could challenge other vehicles or in rain/snow The space was perfect for our family with young kids who loved the kids bedroom/playroom area for the short time we were there. Some of the doors and beds were squeaky which wasn't great for our infant's sleep but certainly a nuance for us and not a negative.”

“The cabin was perfect for the holiday! We’re from the area & usually stay with family but wanted to switch it up & I’m glad we did. The view was beautiful in the morning. The driveway is no joke, very steep but I don’t think you HAVE to have a four wheel drive for it. Just get the feel of it & absolutely do not stop on your way up. It’s also paved about half way up, so once you make it there, you’re good. We made it up in our Chevy Equinox & my parents made it up in their GMC Acadia. Our kids LOVED the play room downstairs, not many toys, so bring your own. But it was nice to have a dedicated space for them. One thing I did notice was that there’s no dedicated work space, unless you’re counting the dining room table or bar area. Which wasn’t a huge deal, my brother did have a small amount of work to do but he just did it on the couch. But if you’re expecting a whole work desk set up, there isn’t one. All in all, we had a great time & we’re very happy with the cabin!”

“We loved it! Sage and crew put up a “happy birthday”banner for my grandson. He thought that was cool that they did that for him! Area was beautiful. My grands, 9,11, and 12 had fun hunting bears with their nurf guns. They loved the “dungeon”, the down stairs bedroom/play room. The front porch was so peaceful and quiet. GPS doesn’t take you to right place. Go about a 1/2 mile past “your destination”. Little black street number sign on left. I think it had rained before we arrived. It was a little tricky getting up the incline. I suggest 4wheel drive, but I’m sure guests do fine without it! I definitely recommend this beautiful cabin, and look forward to going back!”

“Unique stays was awesome for us. We loved how hidden the cabin is & was really fun coming up & down the driveway since Houston is flat. Sage was very responsive to any questions we had. If you’re looking for something more private & close to Chattanooga, I would definitely recommend! We can’t wait to be back! Thank you sage. We loved it!”

“Such a cute place for a getaway!! 🥰 everything was great! The only thing that we struggled with a little bit was getting up the driveway, but if you have a 4 x 4 vehicle, you’ll have no problem. 🤗”

“This cabin is absolutely beautiful! everything looked at pictured. As mentioned in the description the driveway is VERY steep, the mustang we had rented struggled to get up. Additionally it rained during our stay, which made the driveway increasingly difficult to navigate as it is gravel/dirt so there was a lot of mud we were slipping and sliding in. But we made it to the top, and it was what we expected. The view is slightly obstructed by trees, but it makes it a bit more private.”

“This place is beautiful! The house has that wood smell that is amazing! I loved the layout. The house has a great view of the river! My favorite part was the view! Would 10/10 recommend booking here! The only thing I would say was a negative would be the drive way, it is very steep, I drive an suv and we struggled to get up the hill. But other than that it is beyond beautiful!”

“Beautiful cabin! We really enjoyed our stay! The only downsides were: 1. There were only 4 dining chairs instead of the 6 shown in the photos. We like to have family suppers and were disappointed we all couldn’t sit together. 2. The description made it sound like they had toys and activities for kids. It came with only 3 games. My kids were bored in the evenings since I didn’t pack anything for them to do since I thought it came with things. 3. The driveway is no joke. It rained before we came and we had to walk up the hill the first night we stayed. That being said, the host did have a skid steer come and flatten it for us the second day and we (barely) made it up. We drove a mini van. My parents all wheel drive had no problems.”

“We enjoyed our stay here, host was friendly and responsive. Location was hard to find, I used Google Map and it took us to some place where gates were closed. Thank God my friend Apple Map and it took us to right place. Driveway is indeed steep and gravel road made it more difficult. Our sedan and van both were stuck and had to try multiple times and used some tricks to get it up there. 4X4 was fine. Place was nice, clean and peaceful. Only couple housekeeping items were missed like trash can outside were already fullwhen we arrived. And there were stuffs left in the dryer. Both didn’t bother us much. Overall I would say a great place for gateway.”

“Apple and google maps took us past the location. Google got us closer, but still took us to a locked gate down the road. When we went back it turned out we needed to turn at a mailbox labeled 675 even though the address was 655. Also be careful what vehicle you take. The driveway is steep, loose gravel path with a sharp turn before the incline. We were in a 4X4, but i could see it being a problem for some cars. Overall, we loved the location! Already planning to book it again later this year. The price is fair, and it is about 20min from downtown Chattanooga.”

“This place is beautiful and very peaceful. My family and I were comfortable the entire time and felt at home. I would recommend renting a 4 wheel drive vehicle for the driveway. Other than that no complaints.”
