“overall our stay was very enjoyable. the host(s) were super responsive when messaging and quick to react and clear the snow from the area. there is a very steep driveway (in and out) of the area and when we had some snowfall friday night into Saturday, I messaged about our car sliding when we crowd to reverse out of our spot (we have a RWD Car) and due to that, we and other guests were very hesitant about attempting to drive up the steep drive with snow on it. I messaged the host and they quickly replied and cleared the snow and laid down salt. The only "complaint" would be the mattress in our cabin. it was extremely soft and you sank into it (my bf woke up with a stiff back) other than that, it was ana amazing stay, with gorgeous views and great places to eat, within a 30min drive. Masseys kitchen (10/10) dinner, Milk and Honey (10/10) for breakfast. Feed Table and tavern (8.5/10)”

“We had an amazing stay here! We’re not usually very outdoorsy, but this place offered the perfect balance of modern comfort with a true outdoor vibe. We were lucky enough to experience snowfall, and the views were absolutely beautiful. The host was wonderful and provided clear, helpful instructions throughout our stay. We did have a small issue with the bathroom drain due to the weather, but the service was top-tier and it was taken care of quickly. I did notice some reviews mentioning ladybugs and other bugs, which made me a bit nervous at first—and they were definitely present. However, they weren’t a problem at all and didn’t get into our belongings. The only downside for us was the mattress, as our backs were pretty sore after two nights. With that one improvement, this place would be perfect. Overall, we would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway.”

“We thought the place was beautiful. The host was super responsive and friendly. Our kiddos love the pond in front of the gazebo, and enjoyed the decor in the cabin. It was very clean and spacious. Loved that they even had a dvd player with movies & a couple board games. Kiddos also loved the slides & pool and was super thankful that there were puddle jumpers for them use. We ended up checking in at 7pm the night before we had to leave, went inside to turn the hot tub heater on because it was 59°, and went straight to the waterslide for the kids. The hot tub still wasn't warm when we got back an hour later, fed the kids dinner, and then checked the hot tub. Still wasn't warm. Only 61°. Unfortunately it was too late at night to figure out what was wrong & we went to sleep for our early departure this morning. Was a little bummed about it since we chose this place specifically for the hot tub. Still 5 stars though & we would return as long as there's a working hot tub next time!”

“The place matches the pictures, and the view was great. I could see a previous Airbnb we had stayed at before, below us. The driveway into the Tree House area was steep, so I suggest having good brakes and something with power to control the crawl down and then back up. You are near some local eateries and very close to town to buy groceries and hit up some attractions like Ruby Falls and Rock City. The home had plenty of linens, plates, silverware, and glasses. The coffee maker was easy to figure out, and if needed, you could go online to watch some video tutorials. The hosts are very responsive.”

“This was my second stay at this cabin and I will definitely be back again! This cabin has great privacy and is a perfect getaway. I stayed during a weekend of snow/ice and the host cleared the driveway to get down with no problems.”

“Views and house aesthetic is what we base our Airbnb stays on. This house did not disappoint! We walked in and immediately said “wow!” 😍 Sunrise and sunsets were breath taking. 4x4 is a must to get up the mountain, especially in the winter months with snow on the ground. Fun fact- if you walk to the top of the road, you can stand on the NC / SC border. The other houses were close, but it still felt private. Interior was beautifully designed.”

“Customer service was truly exceptional. Due to inclement weather our vehicle got stuck but in less than 5 minutes Oliver and Blake came to our rescue and took us to our cabin. We received ongoing communication checking to confirm we had made it to our cabin safely and soundly. The next day Oliver followed up with me giving me options on what was more comfortable for me regarding driving my car up the slope, showcasing their dedication to our well-being. Saturday evening Mr. Fred stopped by to advise me that Milky would give us a ride down the slope to our car at check out, going above and beyond. They also extended our check out time to an additional hour at no charge, a testament to their kindness. What an amazing family they were, kind, helpful and very caring, making us feel like part of their family. Trust me, you have to visit this place. It felt like being with family, a truly heartwarming experience. I would highly recommend this place for a private, fun and relaxing experience.”

“My family stayed here just for a night and we wish we could’ve stayed longer! It looks exactly like the photos, very clean and cozy. It was secluded and had a beautiful view of the lake outside. Perfect for a peaceful getaway. We made use of the pool access and it was so fun for our little ones. We did not use the hot tub, but the paradise pointe pool had one to use as well. Thank you for having us!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Saluda Mountain cabin. The location and views are stunning — peaceful, expansive, and exactly what we were hoping for in the mountains. Every morning and evening felt special just being there. What truly made the experience exceptional was Fred and his family. They were incredibly responsive and kind, always there when we needed anything. During snowy days, they even helped with transportation up the mountain and generously shared local recommendations that made our stay even better. You can really feel that this place is cared for with heart. We felt safe, supported, and completely at ease the entire time. This was both a relaxing getaway and a memorable experience, and we would absolutely stay here again.”

“This stay was absolutely incredible from start to finish. When we arrived, there was an unexpected snowstorm and our car couldn’t make it up the hill. Without hesitation, the family came to pick us up in their 4x4, helped us get settled, and even let us use their vehicle during our stay. That alone shows the level of care and generosity they have. Their son, Oliver, is the sweetest, he helped us so much and truly made us feel welcome. Fred, the owner, checked on us regularly to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. You can genuinely feel how much they care about their guests. The house itself is even nicer than the pictures. I was honestly impressed cozy, beautiful, and perfectly maintained. It exceeded all expectations. I’m genuinely sad to leave. This is, without a doubt, the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in, and I will absolutely be back. Highly, highly recommend to anyone considering staying here.”

“Great cabin and made for a great getaway. The sauna was a fantastic bonus. The only issues we faced was in the kitchen. Wish there was a few more basics…foil, more than 1 dinner plate. Also a little more instruction for the stove. Other than that, clean and inviting space with comfy beds!”

It had everything we needed for our weekend trip. Only thing was the master surround sound speakers didn’t work but we didn’t mind too much. Great place for families and gatherings!”
