“Our recent stay at Southern Comfort was absolutely incredible, and I just had to share how much we enjoyed every single moment! From the stunning vistas that greeted us each morning to the house itself, which was truly a picture of charm and comfort, everything exceeded our expectations.What really impressed us was the thoughtful design, with its two distinct living areas elegantly connected by a gorgeous staircase. This layout was an absolute godsend! It meant our large group of twelve, including my family of five, could comfortably spread out, giving everyone both shared spaces for fun and private nooks for relaxation. It never felt cramped, which is a huge plus when you're traveling with a big party.We spent countless hours soaking up the ambiance, whether it was lounging on the fabulous front porch, enjoying the beautifully kept yard, or gathering for some evening fun. Evenings were pure magic around the yard campfire on the lanai, perfect for roasting marshmallows under the stars and making lasting memories.The home was spotless upon our arrival, which always makes a huge difference, and it truly felt so welcoming and accommodating with shopping amenities 4min away. A special shout-out to the downstairs area – it felt like its own private retreat! This was a total game-changer for my family of five, especially with two energetic toddlers. Having that separate space allowed them to play freely and even unwind with their favorite shows on the huge projector screen.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the house. It was beautifully decorated and we felt a sense of peace while visiting there. We were much appreciative of the supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap and air freshener. However, we were a little disappointed in how the kitchen was sparsely supplied and the amount of dirty dishes in the cabinets.  One of the bathroom sinks downstairs leaked, but luckily there was a second sink close by. We loved having the basement, especially when the storm came through. The weather was perfect for outdoor grilling however, the BBQ grill was filthy with ashes and caked grease. There was entirely too much work involved to clean it, especially while on vacation. Hot tub was relaxing!Overall this was a great place to stay. Great location, nice and quiet, plenty of space, beautiful outdoors. We would stay again!”

“Big and spacious house. Great TV area. A lot of religious pictures, crosses and signs. Like A LOT. Soap and shampoo provided only in one bathroom in a dispenser. House is right next to an interstate road. This is a view from your windows. It can get noisy. Close to Publix, tjmaxx. Host was very detailed and on point with communication but there was no flexibility without extra fee with checking in or out (not even an hour or two before 4pm). The fee was mentioned couple of times which made us feel pretty unwelcome and tense upon checking out. Salt, pepper and other condiments are not there so make sure you will bring everything with you.”

“I brought our schools cross country team to stay for our sectional race in Pisgah. We had 3 chaperones and 14 kids. There was more than enough room for us all. The down stairs is as big as the upstairs. The house was very nice and clean. Definitely plan to be back next year. ”

“Overall, pleased with the place.I’ts very pretty, and spacious! The location is great! Close to so many things! (& 3 minutes from TJMaxx! ) Some things to note:I feel they should give more cabinet space for groceries. Most of the pantry storage is locked. They didn’t supply enough dishwasher pods, trash bags, (1, for a 12 day stay party of 7. We had to buy a box) or laundry soap. I had to buy a small bottle. The remotes/streaming services were a little glitchy. It was not well lit when we got there, and that made it challenging to see the keypad entry on the door. We searched for 10-15 minutes going to each door, before we found it. )And we had been there a week, before I found the owners names/numbers posted in the downstairs closet. I had to communicate with a third party, until that time for any questions. But other than that, it was a very nice place, and the hot tub is amazing!! ”
