“My wife and I stayed for one night and honestly wish we had found this place sooner so we could’ve booked the whole weekend, but it was already taken. We were visiting Ruby Falls and Rock City and wanted a place close to nature with a hot tub to relax after a long day. The home is very nice, clean, and well equipped. It feels private and peaceful even with other Airbnbs nearby. The outdoor area was our favorite part beautiful surroundings and we even had a sweet little cat visit us, which made the stay special. We couldn’t use the hot tub due to weather, which was unfortunate. The space feels a bit small for six people, better for smaller groups or couples. It is pretty far from restaurants and stores, so plan ahead. Trailhead nearby was a hidden gem and highly recommended. We had a small issue at check-in, but the hosts responded immediately and were very helpful. Checkout at 10am felt a bit early, but understandable. Overall, a peaceful and beautiful stay with great hospitality”

“Perfect place for our anniversary getaway! Hot tub is a definite plus! It’s about 40 minutes from Chattanooga, it’s a beautiful drive, and worth it. Even though there are other houses around it still feels secluded. As a side note, though there is plenty of sleep room for more than two, the space will seem smaller the more adults you have. Perfect for couples or taking your kids on a trip.”

“My husband and I have not taken a trip in a while due to his health and we were not sure whether we could take this one or not. At the last moment after booking things worked out to where we were able to come. We had an amazing time and even stayed an extra night. This place is small, but perfect. It has exactly what you need and the distance to Chattanooga is short as as well as the distance to Mentone and Fort Payne. We spent our day in Chattanooga and we had a great time! The only thing I will warn you is make sure that you can make your dates it is nonrefundable!”

“The Dogwood Cottage is a super cute tiny home! It’s a remote location and very quiet. The host was very responsive.”

“Positive: Was a beautiful location on the mountain private to a degree for the cost and qualities it was amazing Negative: The heating and cooling unit did not work out well in the living room area. Also, the restroom window lock was broken.”

“The map is incorrect with the location, 20 minutes further than what map shows. This needs to be corrected. If we would have known the location, we would not have booked as we had very limited time on this last minute trip.”

“The place was cute and tidy. Exactly what the photos show. It advertises up to 6 to sleep and that is true but the seating in the home or outside doesn’t really accommodate that. I would say for 2 -3 is perfect. Was overall private surrounded by woods and relaxing. Not exactly where it states it is further than what it states. Beds were comfy. Take some bug spray if you’re going to be outside and if it is more than 2 take some camping chairs. Overall good place”
