“Our stay was very lovely! Lots of cute restaurants in the neighborhood. Definitely check out the mason jar cafe for breakfast! Super yummy! The neighborhood isn’t very walkable. One thing to note about the loft is that the AC is very loud. Even when it is off you can hear the humming of it on in another unit. If you’re a light sleeper this is something to note! Otherwise the place was lovely and had everything we needed!”

“Really enjoyed our stay at the urban loft. Why stay at an overpriced hotel when you can stay at a unique spot like this ? Forte coffee is an easy walking distance from the loft. St. Joseph is just a five minute drive with plenty to do. The decor and aesthetic of the loft was so lovely, really cozy and refined at the same time. There's even a balcony where we read our books and enjoyed a coffee. Perfect little getaway.”

“Everything about our stay was fantastic. The apartment was great, looked just like the pictures. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, furnished kitchen with everything we needed to cook meals. Check in was simple, and there was plenty of parking. St. Joseph is very close and very nice, and this was a great place to stay while we enjoyed the beach. Our only gripe was that Benton Harbor has many decrepit, abandoned buildings, and there are some homeless people in the surrounding area. This was not something we were expecting, but this did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay at all. It’s just something I wish I had known beforehand. We appreciate Kenneth for being so responsive and helpful, and would recommend this Airbnb to anyone wanting to visit St. Joseph.”

“The apartment was great, had great books and it was lovely to sit on the balcony. Everything was spotless! It was beautifully decorated and upscale. The A/C was a little loud but I must say it was one of my best night's sleep ever. I loved the sound machine - felt like I was in a bird sanctuary. Also very convenient to be right above The Houndstooth restaurant which was outstanding! I would recommend heading to St Joseph - a cute town next to Benton Harbor especially Silver Beach. “This place is really cool! Don’t be afraid of the 3rd floor walk up.. it’s worth it! Nice loft feel with floor to ceiling walls at least 10ft tall. Exposed brick, granite countertop surfaces, wood flooring, beautiful bathroom, comfortable furniture, even more comfortable bed!😄! Easy in easy out.. just one key to get into the building then smooth sailing from there with key codes! Kenneth is a great host.. would like to meet him someday..Go stay there and explore the Lake Michigan coast line..we hit up New Buffalo, St Joseph, Three Oaks, South Haven and had a very awesome Sunday morning in Benton Harbor with breakfast at The Mason Jar Cafe… (really really great food!) then coffee at Forté Coffee( the actual best cold brew I’ve ever had)! Besides the one my barista daughter makes me!😉.. we were so busy exploring the other cites that we finally checked out Benton Harbor on Sunday and there’s lots of good restaurants and a nice little downtown area that you can walk to from Kenneth’s ABB”

“Positive: The property is spacious and nicely furnished. Pretty much everything you would need. Toiletries were promised, and there were none. There is an excellent restaurant downstairs. A great breakfast and lunch place of block away and a really great juice bar on the corner. Negative: More than 40 steep stairs to access the unit and was not disclosed. Neighborhood is extremely sketchy and appears crime ridden. Internet service was intermittent and weak. The tapwater is not drinkable. It tastes and smells bad. Air-Conditioning is so loud that one must use the provided earplugs to sleep”
