A one minute walk from the lake and from the Driftwood Shop- with delicious lattes, ice cream, gift items, clothing and so much more. Many unique eateries within walking distance or a short drive away. This place is an absolute gem! We can’t wait to stay here again!”

“I loved my stay in Dowagiac! From the location of our Airbnb to how homey it felt I loved every second of it. It was in perfect walking distance from a cute ice cream parlor/cafe with seating right next to the water. Even though we stayed for one night, I would have loved to have stayed longer. “What a darling and comfortable cottage! We absolutely loved our stay. The lake access was wonderful, the kayaking was so much fun, and there were several great restaurants nearby to explore. One of our favorite parts of the trip was the atmosphere around the cottages. Everyone was so friendly that we ended up making friends with another family during our stay and even exchanged phone numbers before leaving. We enjoyed our experience so much that when another group we met was looking for a place to stay in the area, we happily recommended these cottages and they ended up booking as well. The cottage was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We made wonderful family memories here and would gladly stay again. Highly recommend!”

“We had a wonderful chilly stay at the Sister Lakes, it snowed a LOT but they were very proactive about clearing and salting the walkways which I greatly appreciated. Perfect cozy little spot for a couple with beautiful views and a super friendly and helpful host, I hope to return and fully enjoy the lakes in the summer!”

“We stayed here for my birthday/our babymoon. We really enjoyed our time. It's decorated very cute and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The air conditioner works great. We enjoyed taking walks around the nearby lakes. And there is an ice cream/coffee shop/arcade steps away from the cottage, which was fun to visit. We also enjoyed a dinner date right down the road at The Strand. The food was very good! The host was also very helpful and communicative through VRBO messaging, always available to answer any questions right away. ”

“Instead of a room you have a place to read, enjoy the outdoors, prepare a simple meal or snack, tend to your laundry, walk and play games. For me I found it a great space while visiting family. Quiet location with very little traffic. No traffic sounds. My preference is "no lights" disrupting nature due to my remote home location so it was obvious the majority of visitors are city folks. If you want a peaceful place to stay away from the majority of people this is a good idea.”
