From the moment we arrived, the home impressed us modern finishes, bright and airy spaces, and stunning wooded landscaping that made it feel secluded without being isolating. The location is beautiful, and the privacy is remarkable, especially considering there’s a separate occupant downstairs, you’d never know. The construction is thoughtfully designed. We stayed as a family of six for our son’s graduation from Andrews University, and every family member who saw photos was genuinely amazed at the quality of home we were able to rent. Comfortable throughout the only minor note is that some of the beds ran a little small, but that’s a personal preference as we are all big and tall. Definitely not a dealbreaker. The hosts are extraordinarily responsive, lightning fast, from booking questions to check-in and checkout. Everything was seamless. Yes, the price is premium but it’s worth it!”

“This stay was great! I ok loved the nature the calmness i felt was incredible , The natural light was a must ! It felt perfect waking up . The only thing that i could say was a little down was the Ants were a non stop lol and it was a weird poop smell that came the first night but after that it was great and comfy and enjoyed the stay”

“We love renting this home! It is always spotless and very clean, which is super important to me. It always has everything we need. We’ve only stayed on weekends and it has what we need to prepare coffee, breakfast and lunch as we usually eat out for dinner. We enjoy eating at Lake Street Eats in Bridgman. The large 2 story windows looking out to the woods make the space bright and cheery while also feeling cozy in the woods. If you want a happy, clean, place in the woods, this place is for you. Perfect for a romantic getaway, a girls trip, a trip for a couple/few couples or a small family.”

“Our stay was at Hidden Arbor was nothing short from wonderful. We came to visit family at Berrien Springs. The home had all the mentioned amenities and was very clean. We enjoyed the peaceful remote location, yet close enough to the main town street. The host was super responsive. We would definitely stay again if in town. Thank you for having us.”

It's a detail that's easy to miss, but the couple living there was incredibly quiet and respectful. We also want to mention that there is no washer or dryer available, which is something to consider for longer stays. ​Despite those small notes, the home's peaceful, secluded setting—complete with surrounding trees and visiting wildlife—makes it a truly relaxing retreat. It's the perfect balance of feeling tucked away while still being just a short drive from town. We would happily book this home again and highly recommend it.”

“This home was gorgeous and sparkling clean. Everything in the house seemed fresh and brand new! It was perfect for a long weekend girls trip and an easy drive to New Buffalo Beach and Silver Beach. We had lots of space for the 5 of us. The only thing we didn’t realize when booking was that there were no curtains or blinds in the office with the pullout bed. So, we didn’t feel comfortable using that as a bedroom since there would be lots of evening and morning light coming in and no privacy. We had space in other rooms so it worked out for us, but might not work out for other groups.”

“The home is very beautiful and clean. The setting is private, sitting back off the road and nestled in the trees. Bedrooms were beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We had our 3 children with us so the children's plates/utensils were a great bonus! We really enjoyed our time and were able to relax in a peaceful setting for a few days. We wish we would have known the basement of the home had tenants. It's advertised as "entire home" but there is a line at the bottom of the listing that says 'tenants in basement' but I didn't notice that when booking (my fault!). When we heard muffled voices through the vents and saw a car parked behind the house we got nervous, especially our daughters. I messaged the host and they responded quickly”

“My family and I had the luxury to having the Berrien Springs location be our home away from home for the weekend. We really enjoyed this space and would book again in the future. The pictures didn't do this home it's just due justice. It's even more beautiful and peaceful in real time. You will definitely feel the same after your stay. Our host Sage was very responsive whenever a question came up. After our departure my family and I conversed about our stay and would only suggest black out curtains being added to the 2brm on the lower level for privacy and sleeping in. The common area being without curtains was of no concerns. It was great to able to see straight into the woods and watch nature. Book today you won't regret it🫶🏾”

“Pleasant stay. House was as described and pictured in listing. Clean, all basic essentials provided, enough storage and towels. We did have trouble with our lock code at check in, but the business was quick to return call and get us in. Coffee for k-cup machine was stocked which is always appreciated. There was a power outage during our last night. Definitely not the fault of the host, but, that also meant we were left without running water (well water). We contacted the host for further instructions as there weren’t any flashlights and to walk us through check out procedure changes and we were disappointed in the lack of follow up regarding this.”
