“The ledge area on top of the king bed upstairs can use some dusting. There are also stink bugs coming in from a hole near the upstairs window unit. Maybe you can seal that up? “Our kids LOVED the cabin! We had to watch our toddler a little extra with the netting his leg kept going through but other than that it was well suited for all age groups! The kids loved all the amenities onsite and we can’t wait to come back when they finish the indoor pickle ball courts! Overall worth the price and we will be back :)”

“This was a great family trip! It was secluded up on a hill and very peaceful. It was clean but there were a LOT of stink bugs and ladybugs in the two upstairs bedrooms. They had bug zappers installed but they were still all over the ceiling and windows. The kitchen was stocked with minimal stuff. One dish towel seemed odd as they have you clean dishes and put them away. Bring ziplocks or Tupperware if you plan to cook. They had a keurig and pods available which was great! The pool was a ton of fun heated pool and it didn’t get too crowded. It did take a while to find towels. We contacted guest services which is not located on property and there seemed to be a delay in the relay of needs. We ended up getting towels from the pool but I would hang onto the ones you get and just dry them in the dryer and reuse them as it takes a while for them to restock. This cabin had the largest fire pit and was in one of the more secluded parts of camp. Highly recommend!”

“We had such a great time! The young kids had plenty to do inside the cabin and out about the property. The pool was fantastic and the property was lively to walk around. We stayed in the cabin with the rock climbing wall, slides and net and it was so fun! The kitchen was functional enough that we got groceries and never left the property because there eas so much to do. Plus the views are wonderful!”

“If you can fall in love with a location, this would be it! The pictures do NOT do justice to this home. The house was spotless with the perfect amenities and linens. Being able to see the horses and other livestock was an unexpected treat. My husband and I came here for our honeymoon, and we brought our small dog. This place is perfect for couples AND families. The pool was fantastic and very clean. Location was perfect and a quick 20 minute drive to everything. We will definitely be back, and we cannot recommend this place enough! Our boys are already asking for a summer trip. The best part. We were able to take our family dog with us. THE POOL. The train crossing the river. The beautiful cabins. The huge wood shed. The iron detail on the porches and fire pits. The goats, chickens and ducks at the barn. We truly loved this place. Felt like home to us. The owner and his brother pulled the good ole boys move and helped us escape the icy mountain roads after the snow storm. We owe them one for sure.”

The resort is set up for privacy and spending time with the family. The cabin was clean, well organized, and overall perfect for our needs. I highly recommend this location and property.”

“The cabin was very clean & spacious with a great view! The driveway is steep so the first drive up is a little scary but after the first time, it’s not a big deal. Maybe adding some solar lights along the driveway would make it easier to navigate at night. We only talked to the owner once because we forgot to buy toilet paper at the store. Even though we knew only the first roll was supplied (so it was our fault), the owner had someone drive up and bring us toilet paper at 10pm!! Wow! We enjoyed the view from the hot tub every night and also used the fire pit. So relaxing!! The WiFi worked great and the Roku TVs have Netflix on them which was great! We will recommend this cabin to anyone heading up to the area especially since there was a note in the welcome notebook saying that they are eventually building an indoor pool for the cabins to share. The drive to Ruby Falls, Rock City, etc is about 20 minutes but it’s a scenic, easy drive. Suggestions for future renters: 1. Buy toilet paper at the store if staying more than 2 days. 2. Arrive before dark so you can easily see how to navigate the driveway. 3. If it’s cold out, bring a bath robe or beach towel to wrap up in when you get out of the hot tub. The towels provided are ok for drying off after a shower but you can’t wrap up in them. 4. Bring paper plates & cups if you don’t like washing dishes. The kitchen is very nice & has everything you need but there isn’t a dishwasher. 5. There’s a full-size washer & dryer so bring some detergent and you can go home with clean clothes.
