“Our kids LOVED the cabin! We had to watch our toddler a little extra with the netting his leg kept going through but other than that it was well suited for all age groups! The kids loved all the amenities onsite and we can’t wait to come back when they finish the indoor pickle ball courts! Overall worth the price and we will be back :)”

“This was a great family trip! It was secluded up on a hill and very peaceful. It was clean but there were a LOT of stink bugs and ladybugs in the two upstairs bedrooms. They had bug zappers installed but they were still all over the ceiling and windows. The kitchen was stocked with minimal stuff. One dish towel seemed odd as they have you clean dishes and put them away. Bring ziplocks or Tupperware if you plan to cook. They had a keurig and pods available which was great! The pool was a ton of fun heated pool and it didn’t get too crowded. It did take a while to find towels. We contacted guest services which is not located on property and there seemed to be a delay in the relay of needs. We ended up getting towels from the pool but I would hang onto the ones you get and just dry them in the dryer and reuse them as it takes a while for them to restock. This cabin had the largest fire pit and was in one of the more secluded parts of camp. Highly recommend!”

“We had such a great time! The young kids had plenty to do inside the cabin and out about the property. The pool was fantastic and the property was lively to walk around. We stayed in the cabin with the rock climbing wall, slides and net and it was so fun! The kitchen was functional enough that we got groceries and never left the property because there eas so much to do. Plus the views are wonderful!”

“My family and I stayed 3 nights at Big Time Hill Cabin. The cabin was very clean and the grandkids LOVED the indoor play area! The indoor pool was also wonderful. The resort has a number of fun things to keep you entertained. I would definitely recommend this cabin and resort.”

“This place would have been absolutely perfect when my kids were little, but even as adults, they still had a great time! We all enjoyed the hot tub, pool, and especially the chickens and goats. The property was peaceful and had so much character. It’s clear a lot of care has gone into making this a relaxing and fun getaway. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking to unwind in a unique setting!”

We wanted to use the bbq but we felt it was little unhygienic but I guess that would be on previous guests….but the host did help us getting it cleaned. “We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The indoor pool area was so fun! We pretty much had the place to ourselves. I loved having our own hot tub and we used it several times. I hope to stay here again in the future.”

“If you can fall in love with a location, this would be it! The pictures do NOT do justice to this home. The house was spotless with the perfect amenities and linens. Being able to see the horses and other livestock was an unexpected treat. My husband and I came here for our honeymoon, and we brought our small dog. This place is perfect for couples AND families. The pool was fantastic and very clean. Location was perfect and a quick 20 minute drive to everything. We will definitely be back, and we cannot recommend this place enough! Also, the host was amazing and the people in the area are extremely welcoming! Thank you so much for such a wonderful visit!”

The pool is awesome with plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy! The hiking trail is beautiful just steep going back up! But so worth it! “We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was beautiful clean. The view was amazing mountains in the background and the Tennessee river unbelievable view. Hot tub at back door oh my Goodness. Beautiful indoor pool with fun things for the kids to play on. Pool table hot tub at the pool. Boys fishing in their catch and release pond. Horses, goats chickens. We are really glad we stumbled up on this place probably won’t be back to Chattanooga away for a while but if we ever do, I hope we can stay again.”

“Paradise point is beautiful! We also found out that the cabin is going to be renovated soon! Our family had a great long weekend here. The kids LOVED the pool. The adults loved the hot tub and the large supply of firewood for the fire pit.”

“We will be back. This is one of those finds you don’t even want to tell anyone about. Only because you don’t want people to ruin it or drive the rates sky high. Our boys are already asking for a summer trip. The best part. We were able to take our family dog with us. THE POOL. The train crossing the river. The beautiful cabins. The huge wood shed. The iron detail on the porches and fire pits. The goats, chickens and ducks at the barn. We truly loved this place. Felt like home to us. The owner and his brother pulled the good ole boys move and helped us escape the icy mountain roads after the snow storm. We owe them one for sure.”

“Great place to go. Kids played basketball, swam in the pool, roasted marshmallows, opened presents. It was a great place to make Christmas Memories. Bring a flashlight. I loved that they didn’t have a bunch of lights blocking the view of the stars.”

“The indoor pool and wood burning fireplace (with endless provided wood right outside the door!!) were everyones favorite things! The views were amazing and the hot tub under the stars was so relaxing. The kids enjoyed the freedom to roam around and visit the animals and play outside. We will definitely be back here! The host left a sweet gift bag of hot cocoa and snacks, and even provided a box of ice melt incase the stairs and sidewalks froze over. We are already planning an adult only trip!”

“This is a great location. Beautiful view, cabins and property in general. One negative is check in at 4pm and checkout at 10am is not the best for short vacations. A 11am check out and 2pm checkin would have guest feel much more satisfied.”

“We enjoyed our short stay — our kids especially liked the playroom and outdoor basketball court. Great views, and the listing matched the photos. We didn’t need to use the kitchen or laundry, but they were stocked and available. We had a few plumbing issues (toilet handle in upstairs bathroom did not work, ceiling in main floor bath was leaking water after one of our kids showered upstairs). The host promptly responded letting us know they would resolve the issues; but, due to our short 1-night stay, this did not impact our visit. Overall would recommend, especially if staying with children.”

“This place was extremely beautiful and peaceful. There were just a few things that I would have wanted to be different. First, the furniture would not recline at all. It isn't the end of the world just could have made the trip better. Second, neither remotes worked. I ended up having to use my phone to control the TV. Third, pet policy or rules should be listed before booking. We definitely wouldn't have brought our dog if we had it before booking. Fourth, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Fifth, there was a random chicken that continued to come to the door and prevent us from getting into the hot tub. These things did not completely affect our stay. We still had an amazing time and would definitely book here again.”

“This was a beautiful location! The cabin was very comfortable. We enjoyed making fires in the fireplace, and the option of the fire pit too. This was very secluded during the week, but even when several other families showed up for the weekend, they were quiet and respectful of each other. This location seems very new, in that there are NOT a lot of little conveniences like shampoo, conditioner, shower soap, night lights or any lamps, or coffee. There is lots of great direct lighting and coffee pot and filters. We just had to make a point to visit a local store for extra toiletries, night lights, extra TP & paper towels, and some coffee. This worked out, but I am hoping this secluded unit soon opens a mini store for these basics, since it is a 20 minute drive to get to a Walmart. Be sure you have the IRON SIGN memorized for YOUR cabin. It's very dark there at night (no flood or porch lights). For the price we paid, and the communication we received, we were very happy with our time!”
