“Positive: I love the decor, I love the floor plan, I love how spacious all of the rooms were, I loved how clean the house was. I love the backyard with the deck and the fire pit with the grill. Plus the game room, which wasn’t a major added bonus and I did not expect. I just love that property as a whole and I would not mind renting from them again the next time we come down. Negative: There were shorts in the breaker box, which caused the hall lights to flicker on and off so much so that we had to ultimately spend a lot of time with it off. Thankfully, my fiancé works in construction, so he was able to pinpoint which burger box. Also, we encountered loads of snow could access any salt to put down on the asphalt. I have elderly parents, and we had to be extremely careful of entering and exiting the house for fear of falling. Also, I think that if they offer complementary firewood to go with the Airbnb, I think that it would help make the client feel more comfortable. Being that we were not from the area, we had to go on a huge trace looking for firewood.”

“The house is beautifully decorated and well stocked. We enjoyed the jacuzzi tub everyday! They responded quickly when I texted them with questions. The fenced yard was great for our 2 dogs. It’s a short drive to the dock on Lake Paw Paw and about a 15 minute drive to Lake Michigan. One day we drove 25 minutes to Warren Dunes. They house was kept cool with the air conditioning.”

“This home was clean, well located, reasonably priced, and comfortable. It is a new Airbnb listing, so they are still getting set up. We would highly recommend, with the caution, that they still need to make some changes and repairs. Their air conditioner filter was completely full and filthy when we arrived; they did NOT come and change it when we notified them. This put great pressure on the a/c unit and inevitably it stopped working, making for a very hot experience. This is a learning curve for owners to make sure the filter is cleaned regularly and that preventative maintenance is done on a/c units. They need to clean and repair their gutters for a maintained look. They need to put in a sulphur water filtration for the smell and the staining of their showers. And they should probably turn the small tub/shower in the master into a shower only since they also have a garden tub in there.”
