“This property is an absolute gem, and we already booked our next trip by the time we checked out. We were a group of eight women and it was perfect for us - if you don't want to share beds with other people, it could comfortably fit up to 12 or 13. The living room was a wonderful hangout space, and the kitchen is beautiful and well supplied with everything a large group needs. The property gorgeous and nearby Mentone had a couple of really cute spots to shop or eat. highly recommend Mentone market and Wildflower Cafe! The biggest downside was that the mosquitoes were savage. We couldn't enjoy the beautiful sunsets overlooking the valley because we were getting eaten alive (although they didn't bother us in the hot tub). That was a pretty big letdown, because we had planned activities to do at the overlook. Still, we would stay there again, nowhere is perfect but Cragsmere was close!”

The boys especially loved the ping pong matches, they had a blast! We really appreciated having room to spread out and unwind. Communication with the host was wonderful, responsive, helpful, and kind throughout our entire stay. This place truly felt like a peaceful escape with everything we needed. “A very beautiful place! The photos of the valley do not it justice- according to AI we were able to see 40 to 50 miles west , and the rolling hills leading to the horizon added shades of beauty no matter the time of day. We were able to get a time-lapse video of the sunset with us watching and had an amazing time outdoors and indoors. The manor has a great deal of character as you would expect from any historical location. The kitchen area is massive, has a great living room/den area, and large dining hall. This was the perfect location for our family which varied from 2 years old to almost 80 years old for our gathering over an extended holiday weekend vacation. As someone who has done professional photography, I can see why this place is highly valued for events like weddings with its picturesque location and multiple facilities.”
