“This sweet tiny home was perfect for me and my three littles under 6. There was plenty of space for them to roam around and explore in the forest, we had a bonfire and got to use the grill. They enjoyed baths in the mini tub and I loved the convenience of the washer and dryer. The home was peaceful and quiet and extremely roomy for a “tiny” home. We come from living in a camper on a homestead so tiny living isn’t new to us at all. And we also absolutely LOVE the town of Mentone that we found another place to extend our stay for a week as this one wasn’t available. Thank you 🤍”

“My kids and I absolutely loved the tiny cabin. The only thing we disliked was having to leave! I definitely plan to rent again when I visit the area, as it was very close to family that I have in Mentone and Fort Payne, but far enough away from the main roads to feel very secluded and cozy. Exactly what I wanted, and the price was comparable to a hotel where I wouldn't have had the same amenities. 5 stars across the board.”

“The place was very cute and had the feel that we were looking for of being in the woods. It is one property among many in the area, so you don’t feel very unique, but we didn’t want to be too secluded anyway. The Internet didn’t work right away, but it did work the next day, making it difficult to communicate with loved ones back home that we had made it. Other than that, everything was great. A very responsive host!”

“This place was absolutely amazing and enjoyable. The local area and near by towns work so well together to be able to get what you need. The cabins are very nice and cozy. The cabins are a bit close to each other so outside life is not quite as private but everyone is incredibly friendly and the stay overall was absolutely incredible will definitely go back.”

“Absolutely beautiful tiny home. Everything was exactly as described. Private, peaceful and beautiful scenery. Only a few things could be better and the host is aware of these things. Water could be warmer, bed frame in master needs to be more sturdy and matress could be softer and curtains for all windows. I honestly can not wait to return to my little peaceful getaway.”

“I rented this house for my mom and I to have a late Mother’s Day celebration by going to June Jam in Fort Payne. I absolutely ADORED the house. I loved the location, and the privacy. It was conveniently located, and it was a very relaxing two nights. I would return for another unplugged getaway sometime soon to actually explore Mentone.”

“Private location. The Wi-Fi was a little spotty, and there was an unpleasant odor outside, so you really couldn’t sit outdoors and enjoy the space. If you ran the dryer, it became extremely hot inside the unit. It also was not very clean. However, despite these issues, we still had a nice weekend, and it was a cute little spot overall.”

“I fill like they should have pointed out that there are no steps to get up into the place. It’s a pile of red, loose dirt and little rocks to get up to the front porch. Then a big step up onto the porch. Just feel like this should be pointed out for those people w walking and/or knee and leg issues. Easy fix! Otherwise, it’s an adorable tiny house and tiny house community. There was no firewood for the fire pit and we weren’t able to get the inside fireplace to turn on. There are also a whole lot of rules! But overall it was a super cute place and the beds were comfortable. Nice decent sized tv’s for the evenings and a coffee selection for mornings. I would stay here again.”
