“It is everything I expected and more! It is so peaceful up there and the view is unbelievable! I set my alarm everyday so I could watch the beautiful sunrise. It was great! It is very secluded up there so make sure you stop at Engles Grocery Store and stock up on all your food and drinks because the closest store is about 30 minutes away. My friends came up from Hendersonville and fell in love with it and they are going to stay there for their anniversary! Enjoy Unique Stays did a fantastic job! Great customer service is getting hard to find these days but they are on top of it! I can't wait to go back again!”

“This was a girls weekend get away and the house was perfect for it. Stunning views, basic supplies provided and plenty of coffee which is nice! Location was easy to get to downtown Saluda and 25 minutes to Hendersonville. Hot tub, sauna, beautiful accommodations made it a wonderful trip.”

“Great getaway spot with great views. Clean with great interior finishes. Host was super responsive and helpful. Gravel road last 2 miles or so but passable by car. My only complaint if you can even call it a complaint is that the neighborhoring cabins were so close that you could hear each other's conversations from the deck and hot tubs weren't fully private due to proximity of other cabins. Overall great stay and would book again.”

“This is a very fine and luxurious Airbnb, one of the best that we've stayed in. It would be perfect for a family or group of friends. For my wife and I it felt like a large house, there are 2 floors, with 2 decks and high ceilings. Everything was perfectly clean and high quality. Excellent location and view outside. We loved every moment here and would absolutely stay again. Great kitchen and cookware, beds, gas firepit on the deck, all perfect.”

“My 2 friends and I stayed here for the weekend for our annual girls trip, and we really enjoyed it! The cabin is absolutely beautiful, perfect combo of chic and cozy. Very accurately matched the description and photos and the VIEW from both the upper and lower decks was absolutely phenomenal. My friend takes a cabin trip every year and she said this was the best view she’s had yet. Very clean. It was a bit hard to find at first but I think that is just how it is in the mountains with the winding roads. Easy check in. The cabins are pretty close together but once you’re inside it feels very private, and there are even some privacy features on the decks which was nice! About 10 min to the town of saluda and about 45 min to Asheville. The town of saluda was really cute and had an amazing coffee shop. We originally wanted to be closer to Asheville, but this place was a great deal for how beautiful the cabin was. Family friendly or great for couples. Would recommend!”

“We were looking for something in the Blue Ridge Mountains and chose this property because of the view and outdoor living spaces. It absolutely did not disappoint!!! Every morning you can catch the sunrise from both the master bedroom and the downstairs bedroom without even getting out of bed. The main living spaces have huge windows so you have an amazing mountain view from most everywhere. We spent a lot of time on both the upstairs porch and the swing on the lower level. If you’re a nature lover the bird watching is fantastic and we even saw deer a few times. The house was spotless, beds and furniture were comfortable, kitchen and laundry room had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!”

“It was an amazing experience with a beautiful view and breathtaking sunrises. To get up the dirt road lowered cars are not recommended. Everything you need is in the lodge and enjoying evenings at the fireplace are unforgettable. Made for peaceful and quiet moments in the middle of nowhere. Saluda is also very recommended which is not far. Help and communication was quick, friendly and easy with the host :) Thanks for this unforgettable experience and I want to come back.”

We walked in and immediately said “wow!” 😍 Sunrise and sunsets were breath taking. 4x4 is a must to get up the mountain, especially in the winter months with snow on the ground. Fun fact- if you walk to the top of the road, you can stand on the NC / SC border. The other houses were close, but it still felt private. Interior was beautifully designed.”

During snowy days, they even helped with transportation up the mountain and generously shared local recommendations that made our stay even better. “This was an absolute gorgeous cabin with picturesque sunrises and sunsets. At night, you have a great view of the stars because of the secluded location. The town of Saluda is definitely cute with a few restuarants and gift shops, but if you are looking for things to do, you may want to find a location closer to Hendersonville or Asheville. A few of the parks nearby were closed due to trail damage. But if you are looking to get a way (literally up a dirt road), this is a great place.”

“This is a super clean and well appointed place with a gorgeous view. I would highly recommend arriving during the day due to the dirt and steep roads. Hopefully the vines will be cleared off the last road sign for you because without GPS we wouldn’t have found the house. The property is company managed and they made every attempt to acquire our personal information during our stay. Other than that a lovely place to relax and enjoy nature.”

It also feels very remote even though its only a short drive into town, literally a dirt/stone road up a mountain which to me added to the experience! “Positive: Photos don't do this place justice, it's absolutely stunning. We opened the front door and just couldn't believe we were going to be staying here. We made a last minute weekend trip here (just 2 nights) to do a little bit of hiking and to visit an apple orchard. I really wasn't sure what to expect. We've had bad experiences with home rentals in the past but this place absolutely blew us away. The home is beautiful, clean, and the views are incredible. Kitchen was stocked, bedrooms and bathrooms had everything you need, K-cup coffee maker, oven, stove, etc. The sun rises behind the house, so every window has a spectacular view in the morning. A couple of things that I don't think were mentioned: this unit has 2 master bedrooms, and a kids bedroom with 2 bunk beds in it. Total of 6 beds, couch has a chaise but no pullout bed. The down stairs balcony had a lovely fire pit and a bench swing, the upstairs one had some chairs and a table. There is an outdoor power outlet by the front door you can use for a level 1 travel ev charger-it's plenty close to your parking spot. The drive is gravel, but easy to get up. Very close to town, a few really nice restaurants in the area. Negative: I hated that I had to leave.”
