“We had an amazing stay at this beautiful unit! It had the most beautiful view of sunsets and sunrises. Two decks offered multiple ways to relax and take in nature. The bunkroom was perfect for the kids and the air hockey table was a hit! We would recommend this home to anyone.”

“Having the Cabin all to yourself with the hotub and view was amazing, everything on site was great. Our favorite part was the night time star gazing views. Got to see a red moon both nights we stayed. 11 out of 10 would recommend.”

“Wir kamen aus Charleston und wollten ein wenig Ruhe. Die Unterkunft kam daher genau richtig. Lage und Aussicht Perfekt für uns. Absolut weiterzuempfehlen.”

“Beautiful new construction with million dollar view. Host was very responsive. Would definitely recommend and stay there again!”

“Downstairs a lot cooler (temperature) than the upstairs. Thermostat is located upstairs so it’s get hot upstairs trying to warm the downstairs.”

“Positive: The location is amazing and the view was incredible. The facilities are beautiful and clean. Negative: The only thing that could have been better was the air conditioning system.”

“A fantastic stay overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The property was in excellent condition exactly as described and we would happily stay again!”

“Positive: The views from every room were incredible. Beds were super comfortable and everything inn the house was clean and beautiful and really special. Negative: The driveway is rough!”

“High Top Refuge on Saluda Mountain was peaceful and serene and the mountain views were incredible. The space was very clean and modern, but cozy. Beautiful custom wood work throughout. Sage was a wonderful host, pro-active, attentive and responsive; instructions were clear and many local recommendations were provided. The last mile getting there is a steep, gravel road, but it's worth it. We enjoyed our time there.”

“Would recommend this spot to anyone. Very clean and comfortable with great views.”

“Great house, beautiful view, photos exactly the way the home presented. Host was very responsive. Overall great weekend for peace and quiet. Centrally located to hiking trails and cute towns.”

“Very clean. Will come back.”

“Customer service was truly exceptional. Due to inclement weather our vehicle got stuck but in less than 5 minutes Oliver and Blake came to our rescue and took us to our cabin. We received ongoing communication checking to confirm we had made it to our cabin safely and soundly. The next day Oliver followed up with me giving me options on what was more comfortable for me regarding driving my car up the slope, showcasing their dedication to our well-being. Saturday evening Mr. Fred stopped by to advise me that Milky would give us a ride down the slope to our car at check out, going above and beyond. They also extended our check out time to an additional hour at no charge, a testament to their kindness. What an amazing family they were, kind, helpful and very caring, making us feel like part of their family. Trust me, you have to visit this place. It felt like being with family, a truly heartwarming experience. I would highly recommend this place for a private, fun and relaxing experience.”

“We had an amazing stay in this mountain cabin! Everything exceeded our expectations — the place looks exactly like the photos, if not better. The cabin was very clean and fully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay: dishes, pots, coffee, cleaning supplies, soap, paper towels, and more. The views from the windows were absolutely stunning and made our stay even more special. We truly enjoyed every moment and would love to come back again!”

“I loved the location and the host was very responsive, there was great communication from the time I booked until the time I left. The view was absolutely stunning and it was stocked with what I needed to enjoy my perfect weekend stay.”

“Really enjoyed my birthday weekend in the mountains! The house was fantastic, perfect for our family, incredible views, comfortable beds, everything we needed was included and very close to Saluda, NC and surrounding areas. Host was very responsive to questions. Will definitely return.”

“This house exceeded our expectations. It was stunning, peaceful, and exactly as described in the listing. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. Communication was excellent, and the host was always responsive and helpful. We loved every minute of our stay and are already looking forward to coming back.”

“Impeccable place, beautifully decorated and very well maintained. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bed is extremely comfortable, and everything is of excellent quality. The view is outstanding, and the location is easy to access. As a small suggestion for improvement, the checkout time could be a bit later so guests can enjoy the place a little more. I believe 12:00 PM would be ideal, while still allowing enough time for cleaning. Communication with the host was also excellent.”

“Great host! Very clean and cozy. The perfect mountain getaway!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a great stay at this Airbnb. The home was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a nice layout and everything we needed during our visit. The space felt welcoming and relaxing, making it easy to feel at home. The location was convenient, and the hosts were responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall, it was a really nice place to stay, and we appreciate the hospitality. We would consider staying here again.”

“Great place. Will be back again.”

“Everything went great, as I expected. In general, the downside is the slow internet, but in my case it didn't bother me.”

“Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely consider renting this cabin again. The location was peaceful, the mountain views were beautiful, and the amenities made for a very relaxing experience.Communication with the host was excellent. They were responsive, accommodated an early check-in, and quickly handled reservation changes when our group size increased. The cabin was exceptionally clean, well furnished, and stocked with nearly everything we needed. Minor maintenance items included a back porch door that was difficult to close and a bathroom barn door that occasionally came off track, but neither impacted our enjoyment. The hot tub and sauna were standout features. Both were clean, well maintained, and provided a wonderful place to relax while enjoying the mountain views. The only significant issue was the air conditioning. The thermostat was locked despite a note indicating guests could adjust it, and the home reached 79F during our stay. While the host attempted to help troubleshoot, the issue was not fully addressed until a portable AC unit was delivered late in our visit. I believe a technician should have been sent sooner.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. We do hope the AC issue is resolved, as it was the only concern in an otherwise excellent experience.”

“Positive: Muy bonita vista y la cabaña muy cómoda Negative: El aire no abastece la cabaña por lo cual no baja de 85 la temperatura 2 noches no pude dormir está muy caliente 🥵”

“The cabin was clean, nicely furnished and had a great view of the morning sunrise over the mountains. The fire pit on lower deck was also really nice. We had major issues with the HVAC, which made it impossible to sleep, but did receive a small refund as compensation. We still would recommend staying at the cabins and hope to stay again in the future. Things to know before you go - Arrive during daylight if you can - the cabin is located up a one lane gravel road with a steep incline and no lighting. Download the door code from app before getting to cabin - cell service is bad - SOS mode bad at times, but WIFI inside cabin was good to go. Confirm exact cabin #/location prior to arrival - there are 4 cabins and no signage on outside. Keep the doors closed - the bugs are for real! Bring what you need with you - most everything is 30+ min drive away.”

“We truly appreciated the beauty of the property and the peaceful mountain setting. The home itself was thoughtfully designed and offered a cozy, scenic retreat. When a septic issue arose at the original unit on our last day, the host responded quickly and relocated us to another available home on the property, which we appreciated. The cleanliness of both homes did not reflect the professional standard we expected, especially considering the $100 cleaning fee. Trash was left in the bathroom, the shower hadn’t been properly cleaned, and there were visible signs of dust and missed details. While we didn’t make a big deal of it at the time, it’s worth noting for future guests, otherwise it was amazing. Overall, we’re grateful for the host’s responsiveness and the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful location. With improvements to the cleaning standards to reflect the fee paid by the guest, this could easily be a 5-star experience.”

“Beautifully decorated, good open floor plan with great fall foliage views. Even though it was 2 floors, it’s cozy enough for a couple or a family. Many restaurants close by and I highly recommend the delicious Mexican restaurant in Saluda. There was an issue with bugs getting into the house. While we kept the doors closed, they somehow found their way in. While it didn’t ruin our stay, it was annoying at times. Overall, I recommend this place for the decoration, great views, good restaurants close by and good proximity to Asheville.”
