The owners & hostess are great people to deal with and they make sure to guide you every step of the way during the booking process. Saluda, Flat Rock and Hendersonville are just a few miles away and you'll find lots to do in those areas. These cabins are on our list of places to come spend a few days every fall and we look forward to it every time. They are tucked away into the side of the mountain and are cozy & quaint. “This is our second time at Ma & Pa's because we love it so much. It feels straight out of a fairytale. We go to work, reconnect, and relax which is hard to nail all at once, but this cabin helps us do just that. It is close enough to town to hop out and grab a bite, but cozy enough to stay in and cook. We do both. We love crossing the bridge to get in the cabin and the lights at night make it feel magical. We love it as a couple, but can't wait to bring our kids here one day too. There is plenty of room while still giving parents their own space. We are not a big tech family so the fact there is only one tv is perfect! Our last trip was during a time with snow. Everything was still safe and accessible while feeling like we were in a Hallmark movie. The only suggestion would be to bring your own pillows if you do not like big pillows and I would love for a secondary lock on the side doors for a touch of added safety. However, we are already booking our next stay.... until we find a cabin that can compare to buy for ourselves!”

“With a short drive uphill, you will find Ma & Pa’s cabin nestled in the back of the peaceful mountain retreat, Cabin Fever. This is a perfect place to stay whether you want a romantic getaway or a fun trip with the family. The house is stocked with a plethora of puzzles and books (even a kids Bible), and a high chair. For those like myself who need a fan on to sleep, there are several stand alone fans along with the ceiling fans. The kitchen has scripture on the cabinets, which I did not see until entering, and that immediately secured my decision in choosing to stay here. The heated tile in the bathroom is a nice touch during the late night and early morning. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the fire at night and then sitting in the soaking tub and sauna after a long day of hiking. Sage was a very responsive and timely host. Would stay here again!”

“We only had one night to spend there, and wish we were there longer to explore more! Due to traffic and storms we got in right as it got dark and the gravel road was wet… towing a trailer. It was a bit difficult to see the roads and get parked/situated. Would have been much easier in daylight… would prefer to visit without a trailer.”
