β€œSuper nice cabin! Looked just like the pictures and was the perfect place to crash on a roadtrip. Would definitely stay again!”

β€œAmazing getaway, Even better than what I excepted , This was almost like something out of a movie. Peaceful , I would highly recommend”

β€œSuch a cute amazing place”

β€œBest place to stay in town. Also try green river bbq”

β€œOur cabin was super cozy, loved the bedroom &how it was set up. The whole property was cute to be honest. Its like its own little "campground" with I want to say like 6 cabins on property as well as a laundry house, picnic table area, big fire pit with firewood as well as personal fire pits at each cabin. They also had a playground area for kids with a Zip line which of course I had to try (Gotta stay a kid at heart). I would definitely stay there again as well as recommend it to friends & family. I showed my mom the property &we are thinking of possibly doing a whole family trip back up &getting a few cabins. The location isn't bad either, I want to say it was maybe 20mins from asheville. We did do a lot of hiking which where we went was a drive but thats because of everything we wanted to see personally. I do recommend going to craggy pinnacle for the sunset! park in lot a little AFTER gift shop &definitely do the hike to the top. SO WORTH IT ! panoramic views of the mountains !”

β€œThanks for the stay! The property was clean, easy to get to, and overall we had a good experience. Despite what a previous reviewer mentioned, we had no trouble accessing the property, did not need a 4-wheel-drive vehicle, and thankfully did not come close to ending up in a ditch! One piece of feedback for future guests: you are provided with only one washcloth and one towel per person for the entire stay. If you’re staying multiple days, this is worth knowing ahead of time, as you may want to pack extras.”

β€œWas such a great little getaway for my boyfriend and I! The place was so cute and cozy. We can’t wait to visit again! :)”

β€œGreat stay, Best getaway”

β€œPositive: So much fun relaxing in this wonderful space- the cabin was delightful and the surrounding area was an extra perk- fire pit, chairs, wooded walk -so nice! Negative: Nothing”

β€œBooked very last minute due to an unexpected car issue. Host was very responsive and the Airbnb was clean and neat.”

β€œLove the setting and things for kids. Most of the cabins nearby seem to be set in a place that is private and still feels secluded. The large tub in the bedroom was amazing. The only thing that I would mention is depending on the kid or kids you have along with you.... they can see through the floor of the loft into the bedroom downstairs. It's a beautiful place and that wouldn't stop us from renting but it could be a problem for some.”

β€œWas a perfect getaway my kid loved the playground and we love how private the cabin was”

β€œGreat place! Wonderful area! We will be back!”

β€œWe had an amazing stay at the treehouse Airbnb! The place was unique, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful nature. One of the highlights of our trip was the campfire in the evening, it made the whole experience even more special and relaxing. Everything was well organized and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy getaway in nature.”

β€œPositive: It was a sweet surprise to find such a cute cabin! It was super clean and everything looked new and adorable. It was well lit at night and made it easier to find.”

β€œWe had a great stay at your South Forks cabin. The cabin itself was charming and provided everything that we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the linens & towels felt luxurious. Mornings spent having coffee on the front porch, surrounded by trees, so very peaceful. The nighttime lighting was charming. We enjoyed the walking paths. We were close to Saluda and Hendersonville. Communication with the host was easy. We did have an occasional problem with the narrow gravel roads, at one point meeting an oncoming car (who I believe was heading out the entrance road) and neither of us had room to pass, resulting in us having to back down the road to allow the other person to pass, which was a bit tricky. I believe the entrance & exit roads are marked but the signs are hard to see. We would definitely stay with you again!”

β€œThis was our second time here. It’s a great place to stay. Very cool set up. With a cool playground for the kids. Some of the playground was broke and not working but I understand it’s bc of the recent bad weather in the area. But I can see they were actively working on the activity to get it all back together. The kids can’t wait to use the fun size zip line again when we come up again next year. There Lots to do in area the area. Definitely recommend.”

β€œWe really enjoyed our stay. We had a few issues with Wi-Fi and the TV, but they were very responsive and got those things fixed quickly.”

β€œgreat place to stay! beautiful setting, kids loved it, so did myself and the girlfriend. will definitely be back to visit again!!!”

β€œNice cabin with all the amenities you need, close to lots of outdoor activities and restaurants too. Really enjoyed our stay.”

β€œIt was very peaceful and relaxing listening to the rain on the covered porch!”

β€œI really recommend this wonderful experience immersed in nature”

β€œI stayed at South Fork Cabin with my two boys and it was a great, semi-rustic experience! The grounds at Cabin Fever are extremely well set-up for children, especially the awesome playground! The cabin was stocked with firewood and the fire pit was well used and loved. Inside the cabin was cozy and a great space, especially for sleeping. The bathroom and shower where also solid. The living space itself was a little small, but it certainly did the job well enough. The screened in porch was fantastic, but be aware that you must cross the bedroom to get to it from the inside. I've never visited the Saluda area, but it was great for outdoor adventures (we really enjoyed Green River). Saluda itself was a cute town and lots of fun. A few notes to be aware of: the walls inside the cabin are pretty thin, so keep in mind if you want some privacy from your kids/companions; the TV was in an awkward spot and not up to modern standards; some kitchen appliances were odd to work and kind of small.”

β€œI loved my little getaway to this cabin! It was such a peaceful retreat. Sitting on the back porch in the rocking chair and watching a black bear walk by was the highlight. -aside from a small electronic lock malfunction, the stay was perfect! I can’t wait to come back with my family!”

β€œThis cabin was very private and clean. The auto lock didn’t work (batteries might at have run low) but they responded quickly so we could get in. Most everything was provided that you would need accept some basic spices. It’s ok just wish I had realized it before I arrived. The community wood pile was pretty low (we got the last few pieces) but we had a fine time walking around collecting our own. Luckily it was dry. Beds are pretty comfortable but bring your own pillow. Overall we had a wonder stay and would recommend to anyone.”

β€œUnique Stays/Cabin Fever's "South Fork" cabin is an absolute treasure! The first thing I noticed was the brilliant pine smell. I also loved the layout of the place as well. The decor made me feel like I had traveled back in time to a home away from home. The only frustration I had here was that the door wouldn't lock/unlock, the Wi-Fi was spotty, and the check out instructions posted in the room were much different than the ones in the Airbnb listing. However, the host was able to quickly address my concerns. Overall my stay was great, and I would come back!”

β€œBeautiful place. Great location. A couple safety concerns, one of which was out of owners control, but owner was very quick to respond and reassuring. We would love to come back and visit.”

β€œwe went only for a weekend but I wish I had more time. it was perfect for our little family. it was a place to disconnect from the city and I loved that. 100% recommended”

β€œAbsolutely love this place. 2nd time we’ve been and can’t wait to go back.”

β€œWe enjoyed our one night stay at the cabin. It is definitely an older classic cabin feel that has inviting touches like greenery and lighting on the ceilings. When you walk in, it smells like an old house (nothing wrong with that; nostalgic for some). There are two ductless unitsβ€”one in the living room and one in the bedroom. Since temperatures were in the upper 60s, the units did not want to blow much air so it was a little stagnant. Utilizing the fan helped. If you are looking for more of a β€œglamping” experience, then that wouldn’t bother you. The bed was comfy. The kitchen was well-equipped. It was a short walk to the playground; however, there was a strong sewage smell so we didn’t stay long. Overall, cute place for a night just slightly pricy.”

β€œwe were grateful to book and get a reservation with 1 hour notice (out other accommodations got canceled last minute). The kid play area is neat (zip line was broken), fire pit out back was convenient, and appliances seemed new. seems like some upgrades were made (soaking tub and electric fireplace) but replaced the second bed on the main floor that were hoping for. beds were comfortable and the property was easy to navigate.”

β€œCharming setting, secluded, but well appointed cabin. Definitely a return option!”

β€œGreat spot. The cabin was very clean inside and we had a nice stay.”
