“This place was absolutely amazing! I loved the second-floor balcony—it was so peaceful to just sit, relax, and take in the view from the porch swing. The fall foliage was gorgeous and made the scenery even more beautiful.The amenities were fantastic, and enjoying a cup of hot cocoa while looking out over the property was a real highlight. My fiancé and I took full advantage of the massive grounds, which offered a wonderful hike through the vibrant fall trees. Having a fully stocked kitchen to cook our own meals and plenty of room to spread out was another huge plus. Since we are both writers, having that extra space really helped our creativity flow!A funny moment during check-in: the fire alarm was beeping due to a low battery. I had to laugh because it feels like fire alarms always have a personal grudge against me, but our host was incredible and quickly sent someone to replace it.Our stay here created a wonderful memory that we will cherish for a long time. “We were looking to hike Tallulah Gorge and wanted a cabin stay away from the excursion. We enjoyed the drive to and from daily, and really excited to see wildlife just yards away from the cabin on the way in. The driveway leading up lets you know that you'll have privacy. We had great nights shooting pool and relaxed in the Hot H2o out on the porch after the long hikes! Plenty of room the stretch out in the cabin with great recommendations left for guest right on the coffee table. We do plan on returning in the early spring... Skippers”

“Cute cabin. Would have like better outlets. Had to move the microwave, toaster and coffee pot to spare bedroom to use. They did provide a wheeled cart for that. It was clean and we had a lovely time. The beach was amazing and the sun rises were beautiful. Would stay again.”

While the hot tub is shared across the units and saw several comments mention that, we didn’t run into any overlap or issues with that which was nice. The host was super responsive and proactive. “If you’re looking for a peaceful, cabin escape to get away from the fast-pace city life, this is the place for you. It’s surrounded by beautiful scenery, and has plenty of outdoorsy attractions nearby, from sporting clay shooting to waterfall hikes — and all the more beautiful when visiting during the Fall season during the color change. Don’t expect an easy or quick trip to civilization, but don’t let that discourage you. The place is full of amenities that make staying at home just as fun as being in the city. I’d highly recommend visiting the area and staying here!”

“This was a beautiful home with all the amenities you would need. The pool table, pac-man, and hot tub were a nice addition. It is a 10 minute drive into downtown Helen. Once you arrive on the main road the best German food is right there Hofbrauhaus.”

“We had a great time staying for an extended weekend on the property. - The views of the woods were stunning! It was clean, and did not lack any amenities! - Would stay again. One tip: It is in the description ... but I had obviously missed that there were people living in the basement. I originally searched using the "whole home" option. In any case, there is an apartment in the basement we were trying to be mindful of. We didn't hear much in the way of noise and were not disturbed by the residents. Just something to keep in mind if you are looking for a more private experience. Our only gripe was that the mattresses, sheets, and pillows were not of the quality we expected given the quality of the rest of the property.”

“The place was amazing ! The decorations and theme of the house, the details, the bears, bed frames and all the animals made it so interesting. Everywhere you looked you found a surprise that would make you want to spend more time on the property. We will certainly be back. Only item I have to give feedback on, is that the pool is not heated and not opened for us to enjoy. That is an amenity we couldn’t take advantage off. With a group as large as our it would have been nice to have that available. As we can’t fit 10+ guests on the Hot Tub. Overall 9,6 for the stay. We look forward to renting from you again. #OneLove”
