“This spot was spectacular. It was perfectly private and tucked away but still part of a little community so you aren’t unnerved by how off-grid you are. Everything was as the listing stated and the views are even better in person. The hosts are positively wonderful - responsive, accommodating and kind. “Had three kids age 2-4 with us and we had a great time. Certainly not little kid friendly but we managed. One of the bedrooms does not have a door to block you from the stairs/logs. My 2 year old doesn’t sleep in a pack n play and I was terrified she’d get up in the night and wander off and fall down the logs. I ended up pushing the tv stand in front of the doorway at night. Less than ideal when an adult has to pee at 2am. But again, we managed. The kids loved the hot tub. We spent a lot of time there. Loved the views and watching the hang gliders. I’d come back again without toddlers, but not with really small ones. It was a little stressful. Otherwise great place. Especially for older kids and adults.”

It truly was much more than I expected. The cabin was super clean, very comfortable, and had everything — and more — than we could have needed. The hot tub worked perfectly and was very clean. On the last day, we spent time at the pool because my kids didn’t want to leave the cabin; the pool and its surrounding areas were very well maintained and clean. Honestly, it was the best choice. I would come back as many times as I could. Sage was very attentive from the first day until the last. I made two requests that were very important to me, and she accommodated them, which I value so much. Overall, I recommend this place 100%. Thank you so much for everything.”

“This was a wonderful and unique stay. Was located in a beautiful spot, the setup was fun and the kids loved it, and the instructions were communicated in a timely manner and clear. Only downsides were there are large windows without curtains or shades in both bedrooms (which is tough when your kids wake up extra early if theres any sunlight), the only stairs to the upstairs were a tight spiral staircase with super narrow steps that you need to be really careful going up and down, and the driveway is dirt and gravel and slanted on a hill and so it may take multiple tries to get out with some skidding. In a great location with lots to do. Visited in April just outside of peak season and it was perfect. Overall loved it and recommend it as a place to stay”

“Great little cabin! I will definitely stay here again if I come to the area. Inside and out were both great. Nice area outside to sit and relax while looking at all the animals in the neighboring farms. Had all we needed. The only call out I would have is around the hot tub. Some sections said "hot tub" and when you dig deep in the document it says jetted soaker tub. The tub was not full when we arrive and we let the water run to fill it for almost 4 hours while sitting outside and enjoying a fire...it never got full enough to turn on the jets. Overall this place is great!”

“Positive: Very clean inside. Negative: Main bed and pillows needs upgraded. Very uncomfortable. Bed seems to be wore out. There was a dog running around the property and coming up to the porch. Which was fine with us. Just a concern he will get hit by car as he ran up the side of the road when we left one morning. Hopefully the owner keeps this dog off the road.”

“We had a large group and the house accommodated us perfectly. We had an issue with the passcode when we arrived and our hosts responded right away and fixed the problem. The amenities were awesome and we utilized all of them. The putting green, hot tub, and sauna were our favorites. Also, the steam shower was a great touch! We would love to stay again.”

“We have stayed in Hightop Cabin for a few years now. It had always exceeded our expectations! Love the remote feeling, the mountain stream, the fire ring and charcoal grill outside. My wife loved the sauna!!! Wow! Very close to the town of Saluda and the city of Hendersonville. Groceries in Hendersonville. The cabin has had some positive upgrades. Large screen tv’s in both the living room and area and the bedroom. Both Al o have electric fireplaces that are also heaters! Really nice! The small kitchen has everything you need. The remote feeling is just great to tuck in and relax!”

“Truly a unique stay. The common area for coffee, tables, chatting were an added bonus. Though we didn't need the washer and dryer, I was happy to know it was available. We stayed for a local sports tournament and were very excited to have the extra space vs. a typical hotel room. The place was very comfortable, showers were huge. There was a festival going on around the corner with live music, food, drink etc. The river is very pretty and a great spot to hang outside. We will most certainly be back again for next years tournament and though I shared the space with another player and his parent, we will absolutely inform other families so we can all enjoy. Will be back!”

“Very impressive view, inside and out! This home was super spacious for our family trip to spend time together. We easily could have been happy with just the main + upstairs floors, but this home comes with a second full kitchen and living space downstairs too. Super spacious. The multilevel deck is great for enjoying the mountain view and surrounding trees, and the property is very private. (Another small rental shares the driveway but we did not notice any neighbors during our stay.) The larger upstairs kitchen was very well stocked with baking pans, dishes, utensils, and glassware. The decor throughout is very tasteful and the beds all seemed to be comfortable. The weather was too warm to use the hot tub but it seems very new, and the water was crystal clear (rare for a rental hot tub!). The kayak shore on the lake was also nice to have access to. The team was very responsive to any Qs we had, and always super helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this gem of a getaway!”

“Staying at this Airbnb felt dreamy and magical. The treehouse design alone made it unforgettable—tucked away in nature with stunning views that made every morning and evening feel special. One of the most unique touches was the slides attached to the space, which added a fun, playful element that my kids loved. We also enjoyed soaking in the hot tub in the evening after a long day of exploring Ruby Falls and Rock City which were only about 20 mins away. Fantastic memories were made! “10/10 would 100% recommend! Everything is about 10-20 minutes away. Great restaurants in the area (plan for parking as the majority of the Southern District is pay to park only). Very peaceful, quiet, relaxing, and calming. Hot tub and fire pit are an amazing touch. There is a grill if you are interested. Highly recommend visiting Ruby Falls, Rock City, and the local River Walks. Overall, great hosts with an amazing property that is as advertised.”

“We had a fantastic stay at Fish Tales Cabin! We stayed with our two young children and really enjoyed the views & amenities. Access to Paradise Pointe was such an incredible perk! We traveled into Chattanooga for activities & restaurants - with the drive taking a little over half an hour. While I was a little unsure of the drive back and forth, it was WELL worth it for the views and peaceful stay. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and we can't wait to come back. We made some awesome memories and are very grateful to have found such a cool spot!”

“The house is brand new and absolutely beautiful! 6 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms are very clean and comfortable! It offers wide-open views that sit right above the treetops. The views are stunning. Please note that the balcony is south-facing, so you won’t see the sunrise or sunset directly. The driveway is a bit steep and requires some uphill/downhill driving. Also, it’s best to avoid using multiple showers at the same time to maintain steady water pressure; otherwise, the water flow is sufficient.”

“Positive: The location is great. Close to Saluda & nearby hiking. The cabin is very nice inside, comfortable couch, cozy padded porch swing, good strong shower. We didn't really have any communication with the host except the emails with the codes and checkout info, but that's all we needed. The electric fireplace is great, heats up the room very quickly. Negative: On the very lowest setting, the refrigerator froze everything, so we had exploded soda cans & foods that were ruined, like salad & half-and-half. The bottles on the shower caddy are not reachable if you're not tall. There was nowhere to eat in the cabin. A couple of TV trays would have been nice for when we had our breakfast & lunch. We didn't want to go out for every meal. A picnic table would be a welcome addition so we could enjoy sitting & eating outdoors. The hot and cold water are backwards at the sink. The pillows are a bit flat. A second set would have made sleeping much more comfortable. Also, I would say to recommend folks bring paper plates with them; washing all the dishes in the tiny bathroom sink was a pain. The k-cup coffee maker was a nice addition, but i would like to have known about it so I could bring my own k-cups. I brought coffee because it said there was coffeemaker, but I have to drink decaf, and there weren't any decaf cups & no way to make one. These thingsare not deal-breakers, but they would have made the stay much more pleasant.”
