“We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Creek. The location was perfectly located downtown, yet fairly secluded in the woodland. The house was very nice. None of us are pool sharks but we enjoyed playing a little. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit every night. There is a hot tub but didn’t use it as we felt the weather was a little warm for that. Their downstairs apartment is a nice addition with the game room, small kitchen, and bath. Teens would love staying in there! We would definitely stay there again.”

“We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bear Crossing. The cabin is exactly like the photos and did not disappoint in any way. It’s extremely convenient with how close to Helen it is. Yet you’re surrounded by woods and feel isolated and peaceful. Many days leaving we would see deer or other wildlife wandering around and on our last day out there was a black bear hanging out in the cul-de-sac. Luckily, he kept to himself after knocking over the bear proof trashcan. We would definitely repeat a stay again. Absolutely wonderful cabin and hosts.”

“Can’t speak of this place more highly! Communication was 10/10, location was literally 90 seconds from downtown, not accounting for the standard crazy weekend Main Street traffic. The kids LOVED the game room; the hot tub was super fun - and it gave you the entire “Helen cabin” experience you’re looking for. 10/10 - marvelous experience!”

Kids loved the game room. They had their own area where they slept downstairs. Well taken care of in plenty of room. The fire pit was the highlight of the evening along with the hot tub. Would highly recommend.”

“We had the most amazing stay at Bear Crossing! The location is perfect and close to all Helen has to offer but also private and secluded. The cabin is so cozy and comfortable and all the Christmas decorations made us feel right at home. Our favorite features were the gas fireplace and pool table. The kids had a blast in the game room and the adults enjoyed the split floor plan when we wanted to hang out upstairs. The hot tub was so clean and great to relax in after a busy day in town. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals too. We hope to be back soon!”

“The unit is decorated in a very cute cabin way. Very spacious. Beds sleep well. Extra pillows available. The amenities are as described. The hot tub was wonderful, especially as it was under cover and it rained every day of our trip! :( Be aware that the road is very rough for big heavy motorcycles: if we had come on the bikes as planned it would have been very difficult to manage although not impossible. The only two 'complaints' are that the seating is limited for a house that sleeps 9, and there is no good place to keep non perishable food in the kitchen. We had 6 people and had to bring in a bench to eat at the table. And the living room furniture seems to be split up between the upstairs and downstairs. So the fireplace ledge was used for seating. And the main kitchen is well stocked with dish ware and gadgets, but there weren't any empty cabinets to put the groceries in. Not major issues, just things to be aware of. Yes, there is wildlife, as we did see a bear in the driveway.”

“The cabin is nestled into a beautiful wooded area and the fire pit area is real pretty. Lots of outdoor deck spaces to enjoy also. The inside decorated real nice with lots of nods to the bear theme. Sadly, there was a very bad odor like mildew/sour smell throughout the cabin and was worse downstairs. The downstairs game room was a lot of fun! I really didn’t like the fact that toilet paper was limited to one roll. And they weren’t full rolls when we arrived. I also would like to see more coffee cups available. We enjoyed the hot tub!!! It’s a nice cozy screened in area.”
