“Amazing location, the property is a very cool, family friendly experience. Half of the cabin is only accessible by ship ladder staircases, so might not be easy to access by little kids or the elderly. Hot tub was great and outdoor kitchen area was really neat. Basketball, volleyball ball, pickle ball, and animal petting farm all just steps away from the back door. Amazing views from the front of the community. Indoor pool area is one of the best I've been to, very family friendly and great for kids. Highly recommend this place.”

Just take the description seriously about the stairs, they are ladders, so it would be difficult for anyone not sure footed. We are already talking about visiting again next year :)”

We stayed at the "Cabin in the sky," the kids and adults enjoyed having separate levels and multiple spaces to relax after busy days of site seeing in the area. “Exactly the late summer vacation we were looking for. The house was very clean and we enjoyed the quirkiness of the steep ship stairs, a second kitchen outside by the hot tub and the peacefulness of the “cloud” bedroom on the top floor. Fred was very responsive to our chats. Our daughter enjoyed visiting the horses and both our kids loved the indoor pool. I would strongly recommend driving in from the back way and not the steep front entrance. Also, be mindful of the time zones when making reservations in Chattanooga (+1). The aquarium and Ruby Falls exceeded our expectations. We would also highly recommend Thatcher’s BBQ restaurant in Trenton, GA. Easier drive than to TN and fantastic food and service.”

“It was very peaceful property and the pool was a nice touch. I loved that there were also chickens and goats to go look at and a basketball court as well. I will say I did not realize the steps were flag ship steps but that was my fault for not reading the description better. ”

The only thing I wasn’t expecting was the stairs, they’re more like a latter. Which is fine as long as you don’t have toddlers! Overall, definitely a 10/10, we are already starting to plan a trip for next year and will definitely stay at one of Fred’s properties again, probably this one!”

“We had a great trip to Cabin in the Sky. During our stay we had a small issue with a leaky ice machine, but the team was responsive and extremely helpful and courteous. Be sure to note the potential issues for your family using the stairs, as they’re really ship ladders which can be difficult for small kids or older folks. Even so, our kids loved the ladders as much as anything. We’ll be back!”

“The cabin is wonderful, the pool is amazing and the views incredible. Love the farm behind the cabins, volleyball and bball courts. The indoor stairs are steep (ladder) which we knew. For a couple days it didn't affect us. The Internet is slow but we were vacationing and didn't mind. The toilet on the 2nd floor wouldn't meet mexico permitting. My 8 year old's knees hit the wall while sitting. Good luck as an adult. But I'm not taking any stars away as we had a wonderful time and will come back. Just know Alabama and Mexico/Dominican have similar permitting. Love all the wild/weird cabins on this property. Very cool. Owners were very responsive. Our stay was great.”

It was a little cool all week so we didn’t realize utilize the outdoor kitchen but it was a great feature. “There was plenty of room and the kids absolutely loved it. Between the slide, the rock climbing wall, and the hot tub they were in heaven. There is also one floor that is perfect for a small group of kids. There were bunk beds and a small living room for them. The indoor pool was amazing. So much fun for the kids and adults.
