“This was a great stay! Reading the reviews, it’s helpful to know that there are no doors on the downstairs bedrooms but we made it work. The kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were comfortable. We spent many hours outside, enjoying the lovely acreage, the seating areas, the hammock and picnic table. It was quiet and peaceful. We had 3 generations there and hopefully the grandkids will remember this special time. Very dog-friendly. Grace is a wonderful host and communicates quickly.”

“this is year three for us at the christmas tree farm and we still love it as much as we did on our first visit. the house is quaint (which we love) and already has everything we need (and more) to make for a comfy stay. plus, the surroundings are exquisite, and our dogs absolutely love the land (and they are welcomed with open arms). it’s a perfect getaway and a hidden gem not far from the city. we’ll be back next summer! thank you, grace!”

“Amazing stay at the farm despite a horrendous heatwave. Window AC's work like a charm and kept the home nice and cool despite the temperature outside. My dog had the off leash time of his life on the countless trails and acerage. We even saw some deer early one morning as well as a TON of wild turkeys. Beautiful space, well decorated home and well stocked kitchen for cooking. Home was very clean when he arrived. Very centrally located in you want to see a lot of sights in a single trip. Warren Dunes, South Bend, Shippshewana, Holland are all an hour or less away. Be sure to check out the local recommendations book in the living room. Very helpful! I will say the way the bathroom was built would make for an awkward time if you aren't on super friendly terms with everyone else visiting as it's in one of the bedrooms but it didn't bother us in the slightest. 10/10 visit. Will stay again in cooler months”

“This is a very unique stay! Several parts of our extended family were together for a wedding in the area. The giant fire-pit allowed us to be together each night! This place had a camp feel, but with many more amenities. Would have liked to have doors on the bedrooms.”

“From even before I booked, Grace was very helpful and responsive to my inquiries. This was a birthday trip for my 72 year old mom. This home was perfect for a peaceful getaway along with her 16 year old pup and my dog. I loved that this place was dog friendly, had plenty of space and additional amenities for us to enjoy. The home was adorably decorated and we had everything we could have needed. Grace's recommendations, especially Amanda's Bakeshop a mile up the road, were spot on! We had a minor issue during our stay that was a bit of an inconvenience(nothing to do with the host), yet Grace was extremely engaged during the whole process, offering various resolutions for us. It will make for a funny story down the line. I truly appreciate Grace's hospitality and this property was a lovely retreat for us.”

“This is the most perfect little farmhouse! The house is tucked into the property on a main road. The whole property is a dream for anyone seeking some peaceful quiet. During our stay, the magnolia trees were in full bloom, so there was a mix of pine trees and beautiful pink flowering trees. Stunning! There are trails all around the farm so you can take long walks without even leaving the property. The house is old and cozy. Grace did a phenomenal job of stocking it with everything we could have needed during our stay. Plenty of toilet paper, towels, a fully stocked kitchen, shower essentials, extra pillows and blankets, so many games! During our stay, the fridge died on us. Grace had a new fridge in the house less than 3 hours later. She is so kind and responsive. It was a perfect stay. Our dogs had fun too!”

“We stayed here for a girls’ weekend and it was exactly what we were looking for! The location was perfect - close to several wineries and the space was cozy and comfortable. When we checked in, the smoke detector battery was chirping, but Grace came over within 10 minutes to fix it. The bathroom had a slight smell and the upstairs bunk beds were a bit smaller than we expected, but overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it for a fun, relaxing getaway.”

“We stayed at the tree farm while in town to celebrate the holidays with local family. The farm was close, clean, and provided a great solution for our family during the holidays. One thing I never saw in photos nor mentioned was that the bedrooms don’t have doors. Something to note if you have multiple families or friends under one roof that want the comfort of privacy.”

“PERFECT Christmas vacation. We took our 3 daughters and dog. Highlights included: - SLEDDING!! (Sleds were on the property already) - REAL Christmas tree in the living room that smelled AMAZING - ALL the streaming services included on the tv (we don’t pay for HBO anymore so having that app meant we got to do a Studio Ghibli movie marathon) - chalkboard upstairs - fire pit with included s’more’s supplies - tons of games to play Grace was incredible. She was quick to respond, recommended local groceries, and EVEN came right over when I couldn’t find sponges. Not only did she bring new sponges but ALSO candy/treats for our kiddos. She obviously has a heart and gift for hospitality. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Our girls didn’t want to leave. They won’t remember the stuff they got for Christmas but they will never forget this vacation.”

“LOVED staying at this Farmhouse! I swear it smelled like the same farmhouse I went to when I was a kid visiting my grandma during the summer. The whole house is decorated so nicely. I loved that my kids had their own area upstairs. My favorite part was the property. The quietness and the smell of the Evergreen trees seriously was amazing! We loved the fire pit area and roasted s’mores every night that we stayed there. The last night that we were there the breaker did ended up going out, so it actually got pretty hot in the house, but Grace came over pretty fast to fix the issue which my husband and I were very grateful. Would recommend this house to anyone that wants to get away from the busyness of life. ❤️”
