“Positive: The house was very clean. It sits on a no outlet street that ends in at the lake. Very quiet location. Comfy beds. There is a park across the street so if you have kids that would be fun. Only 3 blocks walk into the small downtown. Ate at AJ’s in town. The food was good. Negative: The house needs a house number. Just to be sure you’re at the right place.”

“Had a nice weekend with our two kids. Needed a spot close by to South Bend and this location was perfect for that. Beautiful surroundings too! The park right across the street was cute and had a nice view of the lake. The house itself was super clean and we loved the selection of DVDs and my daughter enjoying playing the Piano! The surrounding town surprisingly didn't have much open on a Saturday so I was glad we ordered food on Friday night and had leftovers for the next day. Above all, would stay again!”

“The home is well decorated, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The beds are very comfortable, the linen soft and clean. The neighborhood is well manicured and quiet. The hosts were wonderful, responded quickly and were willing to allow a friend to stay with us when she had no place for the night. As an added bonus, there is a park conveniently located across the street with a large pavilion, beautifully manicured green spaces and swings that face the lake. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommended this home away from home!”

“We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house!! It was a great location and so peaceful! We only wish the front door window had a curtain or fogged window because it was uncomfortable knowing it was easy to look inside. We were also jet lagged and sleeping in when the owners came and knocked on the door to get their truck from the driveway, so in the future, it would be great if they didn’t leave a vehicle. Overall, though, the house was fantastic!! We felt right at home and comfortable in our stay! Coincidentally, it was also located in front of the park where my wife and I got engaged, so it was special for us! We hope to book here again!”

The house was located with 20 minutes of several of our favorite places to visit. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this home again!”

“Love it here! I truly enjoyed all the little decor like the little owls and the wall decor statements. The location is perfect if you have to have to do anything with Andrews Academy or the university . Plus it’s in front of a beautiful park and lake. Nice and quiet at night too. Beds were comfortable and we had a good time.”

“Sweet little house across from park. They were not quite ready for us when we got there to check in at 4:15, but quickly finished and everything was clean! Space was great for a family of 5! Mostly quiet neighborhood, park was nice but busy, nice neighbors. Would stay again if ever in the area!”

The town is small but only 30 minutes from St. Joseph which was a beautiful area. The home was quiet and private. It was a nice place to stay for the weekend for our friends wedding.”

“We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely stay here again the next time we come to the area! A very cozy house on a quiet street with a lake view out the front. There is not a ton to do in town but everything you could want to do is within a 15-20 minute drive. There is a park across the street that we took walks through and got to enjoy the scenery. The host was very communicative from the moment we reserved our stay and created a very cute home that we enjoyed spending much needed relaxation time at.”

“The furniture, beds, linens, and towels were great. Cozy spaces to relax inside. And plenty of driveway space for more than one vehicle. One downside was that the WiFi was very slow and the cell service in this area wasn’t great either. But such is small town, rural life.”
