Everything was as the listing stated and the views are even better in person. The hosts are positively wonderful - responsive, accommodating and kind. “My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Elk Ridge. The views were stunning, and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evening. The only small downside was the check-in time. We would have loved an earlier arrival to fully enjoy the space, as 4 PM felt a bit late, especially with a 10 AM checkout. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we would happily return”

“What a cozy cabin in the most adorable community! The view was spectacular, and we really enjoyed having the indoor swimming pool for the kids in the winter. The host was very responsive - upon arrival and trying to prep dinner we realized we did not have salt, and someone brought some very quickly. We would definitely love to return!”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Elk Ridge cabin, and I'm sure the other cabins are just as great. Peaceful view, quiet mountains, relaxing hot tub, great amenities. There were a couple minor issues like the shades being see-through in the bedroom (easily remediated with a blanket) and screws inadvertently sticking through the broom closet wall into the bathroom (both things I'm bringing up to the host), but nothing that was a dealbreaker. We are looking forward to our next visit!”

“Exactly as described- private, quite, beautiful view and everything we needed. ELk Ridge cabin was the first one as you come in next to the woods. could hardly see neighbors. the private gate also made us feel secure traveling and we arrived before dark. I think it would have been hard to navigate the driveway in (as well as the mountain turns) after dark, definitely recommend arrive before dark. Also, be prepared theres no resterraunts nearby-- although a great guidebook was in the cabin with recommendations, maps and suggestions. Plan ahead for meals.”

“I chose the location thinking that the view of the mountains and river would be amazing and when we got there, pictures could not do the beauty of this property justice! We’ve travelled all over the world, and this north Georgia/Tennessee/ Alabama state line property has been one of the most stunning places we’ve ever seen as we were welcomed with the most beautiful sunset and beautiful starry sky that followed 💜 We will definitely return in the fall, when we can enjoy the hot tub and be able to spend more time on the porch, with a little less humidity. The hosts were very responsive and helpful and made everything about this trip, easy and stress free!”

“If you love the mountains, mountains views, peace and serenity, you will love it here. The cabin isn’t huge, but it was more than enough space for my husband and I in our two 12 year-old grandkids . Everything clean, great decor, and an incredible view of the mountains and Nickajack Lake from the balcony. You will see a dam slightly to your left when looking at the lake from the cabin, that spot is Tennessee, and a great place to fish. Our grandkids definitely wanted to fish, so it was fun trying to figure out how to go about licensing, considering it seems like every mile you drive, you’re in a different state. 🤣 There is a Walmart about 20 minutes down the road from the cabin in Tennessee, so if you’re from out of state, you can get yourself a 3 day out of state fishing license for about $20. Our grandkids caught some big Freshwater Drum at the wall, and they had a blast! GPS: TVA Nickajack Dam Picnic & River access. All in all, great place and recommended 100%.”

“The location was beautiful and hot tub was great. I do think that the 4pm check in and 10am check out is a little bit rough. We’ve been traveling for 6 months and the standard is 3pm check in and 11pm check out. For the nightly price an extra 2 hours would have been nice. I also needed to get some washing done but decided against it after seeing how dirty the washing machine was unfortunately. Other than that it was a nice, relaxing and peaceful stay.”

Lots of spider webs. Overall, very nice. . If your looking for a peaceful quiet couples getaway. This is perfect.”
