Although the cabin is new, it’s clear that attention has been given to every detail. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, including plenty of gadgets, matching dishes, glasses, and cups. It was so nice to have a kitchen that felt complete rather than a random collection of mismatched items!The views were absolutely breathtaking, and we loved watching the leaves change colors right before our eyes. Between the hot tub, sauna, pool table, and cozy spaces throughout the cabin, we had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. In fact, we loved it so much that we never even left!The decor was gorgeous—stylish and inviting without the typical overdone mountain cabin look. Everything was so well thought out. This cabin is truly done right, and we would absolutely stay here again!”

The bedding and towels were luxurious, exceptional quality! The hot tub and sauna were very clean and the amazing views could be enjoyed from both. Huge TVs in every room made my boys happy. We had a great time with the pool table. It was nice to have plenty of room to play. The home is extremely well stocked with quality homeware, including a nice coffee bar. It was so peaceful and quiet and the drive to the home is so scenic. We had a lot of wildlife sightings, including a beautiful red fox! It is truly our new favorite Airbnb rental. “Forget amenities. The views at this bnb are PRICELESS! Other notable mentions are the comfy beds, super clean space and cozy decor. We loved it here and truly can’t wait to come back. During our stay we ate breakfast/lunch at Wakey Monkey (everyday). Super friendly staff and I highly recommend the Mean Green smoothie and the Turkey Sandwich with cucumber salad! On our last night we enjoyed dinner at the Purple Onion. We also visited the local outfitters store where our son enjoyed gem mining and playing pool. And, on the best weather day we hiked Little Bradley Falls trail and played in the creek! Don’t hesitate to book this one.”

“Our overall impression of this place can be summed up in two words; absolutely amazing! These mountain retreats are a retreat in so many ways. The views are spectacular. I’m not a morning person, but I set the alarm for a little before sunrise and was not disappointed. We did beautiful time lapsed videos both days and it is almost surreal knowing you are just a few miles from Saluda, and yet you feel you’re being given your personal view to the calm and awe inspiring sunrise. And the dawn chorus from the birds adds to the beauty! Even the roosters crowing was fun to hear. As far as the cabin itself goes, it is so pleasingly decorated, very well supplied, clean and cozy, and everything has been provided for a fabulous stay. We tried to take advantage of all the things there were to do: we played a game of pool, sat out on the top balcony enjoying the views with a glass of wine, went to the bottom balcony when it rained, sat around the fire pit and watch the clouds and fog roll in, we slept in the comfy bed with the curtains open to see the sunrise from bed, coffee in hand. The couch is super comfy, the fireplace adds to the ambiance. The murals, the resin and timber dining table, the sunrise themed sliding doors, even the dishes all add to the feel of a wonderful mountain retreat. We can’t wait to go back again for a longer stay. And if you have a large family or a group, everyone will be satisfied with all the space and amenities. PS: The owners are a breeze to work with!”

“It is extremely difficult to summarize how amazing this stay was. For starters, I selected this place to surprise my wonderful lady who I have been with for ten years. When we arrived, she fell in love with it! She was amazed by the stunning view on the balcony, the decor, and the cleaning staff was even accommodating in making a couple of signs for her to welcome her to the stay! These people absolutely went above and beyond in making sure that we loved everything about the place. The place was huge and had various amenities such as a washer and dryer, pool table, an outdoor fire, a wonderful balcony, and so much more! The stars at night with wine and slow jams were especially stellar as we ended our anniversary night. I wish I could go on and on, but I'll just say one more thing. This place has tons of room for a great outing with friends or family. If you need a remarkable place that will make your night and day, go to the host, Sage, for the truly unique stay!”

“The views are beautiful and the home was practically new with nice furniture and bedding. The added coffee and creamers on the coffee bar were nice. The soaps, lotion and shampoo and conditioners (full size) were very nice smelling and made it feel like an upscale addition, a nice touch. Our stay was very comfortable. I recommend getting some groceries before getting to the home, the trip to the town over is not far about 10-15 minutes. We ate at few of the restaurants in downtown Saluda, Wakey Monkey for breakfast and K's NY Pizza for lunch, they were both very quaint and really good. The pool table was fun and the porches on the home really give you such a peaceful feeling. Overall the house was really well laid out and quiet. One of the only downsides: I would recommend if you usually sleep with a fan, bring a small fan with you because there are no ceiling fans, and we find it hard to sleep when the house is too quiet and still. Very peaceful neighborhood.”

“A truly unique stay, it was such a vibe! We loved cooking dinner together, enjoying music on their gorgeous TV and sound system, and hanging out on the upper deck at night watching the stars. The drive up to the house was a fun little adventure, not dangerous at all, just a memorable part of the experience. The house had all the basics we needed, though it’s best to come prepared. “This place was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL!!!! Everything in the house has a specific purpose and was so wonderfully thought out! I cannot say enough wonderful things about it! I wish it was my house!!! Perfect colors, perfect decor, so cute and just AMAZING! The place sleeps 8 but there was only 2 of us so we slept in the upstairs bed and OH WOW, the bed, it was like sleeping on a cloud!!!! The only things I wish it had but didn’t was a hairdryer, because I didn’t bring one, and a step stool for the bed! I’m 4’11 and it came up to my chest! lol! My Husband had to get into it 1st then pull me up!!!!! And we didn’t see any outside numbers on the houses so weren’t sure which one was ours! Other than that it was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING AND PERFECT and I will be recommending this place to everyone I know and if I ever come back here I will stay here again 100%!!!! THANK YOU!”

“Pros: Beautiful location overlooking scenic landscape. Very peaceful. Great communication from host; very responsive and helpful in a timely manner. Property was extremely clean. For a small downtown, it offered numerous restaurants to dine at. We really enjoyed the Back Alley Barn. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen has mostly everything you need to cook and everything worked great. We really want to emphasize how pretty the surrounding area is. Waking up early to the sunrise was a beautiful start to the day. Hot tub was easy to use. Cons: You are very close to the other houses on property. We didn’t have any issues with neighbors but it is not fully private. During our stay, the main AC (a portable window unit) was not functioning and it the temperature got up to 78 for a day and a half. It was eventually fixed but definitely put a damper on part of the stay. Host was very communicative and sent two different teams to help and we appreciated it greatly. We would return to this BnB!”

“We had a really nice stay at this cabin. It's very cute and nicely appointed, with comfortable beds. Overall, we had a great stay. A few things for improvement: the gas firepit was out of gas. The cabins are not marked with any house numbers (the only way to find your cabin is to pull up the listing to see a picture of the cabins with the numbers), we had to help 2 neighbors find theirs. The dishwasher did not have power to it, so we couldn't run it during our stay. The raw edge stairs to the lower level were beautiful but hazardous. Very inconsistent and steps not large enough to be safe. Just small things for improvement, but a beautiful cabin and really nice stay. Thank you!”

“We had issues getting to the property, maps sent us to a dead end road where we got stuck in mud. Luckily some helpful neighbors were close by to help us. Then once we finally got back onto the correct driveway, it was impossible to locate which stay was ours. There are no numbers on the outside of the building indicating which is which. There were other cars parked in front of our front door. The door was left ajar when we arrived. Overall the check in experience was unsatisfactory.”

“Overall great stay! The cleanliness was a little off… the floors were definitely not cleaned. Food crumbs were under the tables and the front door mat was dirty. Also, someone left their undies in the closet ! There was also food left in the freezer. The views were incredible & downtown Saluda was so fun to explore! We would definitely stay here again, I was just a little disappointed in the cleaning. ”
