“Our family of four had such a great time here! Such a charming little place and just the right size for our family. With two young kids the playhouse, zip line, and swings made the stay so enjoyable. The inside of the cabin was so rustic, cozy and cute! Our boys loved sleeping in the loft area, felt like a fun sleepover to them. We enjoyed using the outdoor tub on the back porch, such a unique experience. Sitting on the porch swing in the morning with a cup of coffee was a delight. Would love to visit again! I would caution those with very small children that this would not be the right place to stay as the ladder to the loft is pretty steep and high up, but that’s about it!”

“The location was amazing. I traveled with a 5yo and 8yo. The separate loft area and playground right outside the cabin was amazing. It was a great location, close to other areas like Asheville and Chimney Rock, but still felt like a cabin in the woods. Highly recommend!”

“My partner and I stayed a couple of nights in this cabin and we had a great time. The cabin was actually a lot bigger than we initially thought, the pictures don’t do it justice (in a good way!). We also opted for a late check out and our host made it very easy to do so. We would stay again and would recommend to any other couple or family for nice getaway in the woods.”

“Wow! Magical cabin in a magical forest. From start to finish it was even more than I imagined! The pictures are beautiful but being there in person really felt like a dream or a place out of a story book. The cabins that I stayed at: Ma's & Pa's & The Good Times Cabin were both extremely comfortable & equipped with everything needed. The forest was peaceful & picturesque. I was there on the peak week for fall foliage. It rained but it was still beautiful to look out the windows & sit on the covered porch swing as well as take a hot bath. The host Sage was super responsive & helpful throughout the entire stay. The location of Cabin Fever which is where all of the cabins are, is perfect because it's about 7 min to the hwy & 10 min to the closest Ingles supermarket. There are several parks to go hiking, sightsee or if you want to take a ride to downtown Asheville its a quick 38 min ride with beautiful views along the way. All in all I give it a 10/10..Can't wait to return w family!”

“My husband and I really enjoyed the cabin for the month! Enjoyed the snow that came and enjoyed the area. Really loved the bathroom tub although couldn’t enjoy it as much as we wanted due to the cold temps. But definitely next time! The communication was fast and every question or concern was answered. I would highly recommend this cabin! :)”

“It’s not worth buying travel insurance. Too many loopholes to keep your money. I couldn’t go due to bad weather and flooding.”

“The most perfect cozy cabin! Absolutely loved the string lights which gets rid of the creepy forest vibe. The only thing was I’ve never personally had a host ask me to wash, dry and put away dishes and take the trash almost a quarter mile to the dumpster at the edge of the property. I figured those things would be included in the cleaning fee. Maybe it’s the norm, just a new one for me! Besides that, it was perfect! We got engaged on our trip and it was so intimate and cozy.”

“I was looking for a getaway and this hit the spot. It was definitely rustic. I enjoyed the bathtub on the porch outside. I felt like it had everything we needed. A little bit dusty but not the worst I have ever seen. The property management was very friendly and responsive when we needed to change units to have more privacy.”
