“Great house to spend a night for our anniversary! Beautiful house with a great spa and sauna!”

“The house was beautiful, relaxing, & clean. They had all the things we needed. The bed was the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. I actually googled it & plan on buying one! Everything was enjoyable & thoughtful. To clarify, (bc I was confused by the other reviews & listing) no, the tub in the back deck is not a typical "hot tub", but to us, it was even better. It's big enough for 2 people. It has lights & jets like a hot tub. BUT you can control the water depth & temperature yourself by filling it up with hot or cold. And the hot is boiling hot, so it's great. It was hard to get in & out of, so if you have mobility issues, it might not be for you. It being so hot outside, we didn't try the sauna. Inside was great. The air conditioners kept us comfortable & I slept like a baby. The layout of the house is unique & we absolutely loved it. Furniture is Plus Size Approved. The only con is that the neighboring home is so close, BUT it still felt private. Highly recommend!”

“Quiet getaway off the beaten path. It appears that the owners live on the same lot as the cabin. But, we never saw them. This is great for a couple to get away for a couple of days. Not much to do at the location, but it is very quiet and peaceful. Fort Payne is about 20 minutes away if you need groceries or want to eat out. We have plans to go back next year.”

“Positive: The owner had games and a variety of books to read. The sunsets were beautiful. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. They had supplied the kitchen with spices, coffee and every kind of dishes and cookware. I really enjoyed the sauna. There was also a whirlpool but we didn't want to go to the trouble of filling it. Negative: It was described as having a flower garden but all the flowers were dead. The doors did stick but you could get them open. I didn't like the location because it was in a residential area. I was expecting more of an isolated place in the woods but it was very quiet. The rugs were a tripping hazard .”

“Great little cabin! I will definitely stay here again if I come to the area. Inside and out were both great. Nice area outside to sit and relax while looking at all the animals in the neighboring farms. Had all we needed. The only call out I would have is around the hot tub. Some sections said "hot tub" and when you dig deep in the document it says jetted soaker tub. The tub was not full when we arrive and we let the water run to fill it for almost 4 hours while sitting outside and enjoying a fire...it never got full enough to turn on the jets. Overall this place is great!”

“Beautiful place! Nice and secluded! Was a bit cold though as you couldn’t have both heater on without tripping the breaker. But the location had plenty of extra blankets. Overall very good experience and the host was very responsive.”

“Positive: The breakfast was good. We went to the store and bought bacon eggs and fixed in their selves. I like the location of view pretty much everything about the place. Negative: The fire pit was too far away from the house. We were told not to bring a grill because there was one on hand. All we had to do was bring charcoal. I brought charcoal, but the grill was a gas grill. I don’t cook steaks on a gas grill. Other than that, I can’t find a thing to complain about. Thoroughly enjoyed it.”

“Love this place; it’s so peaceful and quiet. Everything needed for a great getaway is provided: a wonderful kitchen/dining area (lots of room to work in while preparing meals), cozy living room space, comfortable bed, bathroom with great shower/water pressure, great reading selection. The front porch and screened in side deck, plus the spacious open floor plan were our favorite features. Love, love, loved this place. Will visit again soon!”

“My husband and I booked this airbnb for one night for a quick place to crash before heading to ATL the following day. We arrived late (after 10pm) to find the bed was not made and looked like someone had just rolled out of it. There were also dirty towels hanging in the bathroom. After sharing some photos with the host, they quickly apologized and worked with us to find a solution. They let us know where to find clean sheets to remake the bed and thankfully there were enough clean towels as we only stayed one night. Although it felt a bit gross to arrive to an uncleaned unit, I appreciate how responsive the host was to my issues, and they did give me a partial refund for the inconvenience of the unit not being properly cleaned.”
