“Positive: Newly remodeled and clean Negative: There were no dishes in the unit or utensils. I thought there was, I just misread the description. The bathroom had an odd configuration instead of the toilet being next to the vanity it’s across next to the tub making awkward space of the bathroom. A towel rack for the towels would be handy instead of underneath the vanity making it difficult to get a towel. Should you forget to get it before getting in?”

“Positive: Clean updated rooms. Negative: I did not like the not having the ability to call and book a room, like we could before the new owners. Everything was online and email. I did not know where on the property the room was. The website was misleading for which room I was booking. It showed views from the balcony and did not say ground floor as another room was listed on booking, so I thought I was booking a room above the restaurant, which are the rooms we had always booked in the past. The updates to the lodge were nice and having a store on site was convenient. The 10am checkout is too early and 4pm check in is too late. I understand most large companies have a 4pm check in, but a lot at least have an 11 am checkout. But with all the changes, for me, it took away the family feeling we used to get while staying here. Now it just feels like every other hotel, motel, lodge, and Airbnb.”
