“Absolutely stunning cabin! I surprised my husband with a staycation for his 40th birthday and we had the best time hiding away at the Lover's Nest for a couple nights. He loved the bathtub that actually fit him (he's 6'4")! The decor is so relaxing and romantic, it felt like an aesthetic Pinterest board come to life. It's close enough to explore many of the nearby towns within minutes, but secluded enough that you feel like you're truly alone up in the woods somewhere once you're inside. The grounds are lovely with walking trails, fire pits, and a fun playground that was tempting even for two adults. It rained most of the trip so we didn't spend much time outdoors, but between the tin roof and the screened-in porch, the rain just added to the cozy vibes. I'm sure it's breathtaking in the fall! We loved it. 10/10 would stay here again!”

“Our stay at the Lover’s Nest cabin was like it was out of a movie! The cabin was cozy and beautifully decorated. It was wonderful to come back to our cabin at night after all our adventures and see all the string lights across the property. Perfect jumping off spot ti explore Pisgah and the Asheville area, but don’t ignore the nearby town of Saluda! We were pleasantly surprised with how cute the town was, and will definitely be back in the future.”

“Positive: Enjoyed just being there in a cabin, cooking our own meals and taking in the view. All the comforts of home in a nice little spot in the hills, can't be beat. The host was very friendly and helpful and kept us updated and informed. The wood stove was a really nice touch as well, we had it going not long after we'd unpacked. Just a really nice little cabin that has all you need for a great little getaway. We will definitely be coming back!”

“What an extraordinary experience! My wife and I spent the winter of January through March 2025 at Buzzards Roost in Cabin Fever cabin camp, and it was incredible! We went there on the very premise of living in a real mountain cabin in the woods in a NC winter. Everything was perfect and exactly what you could dream of. We experienced a few very cold romantic nights with a roaring fire in the wood-burning stove, with the twinkle lights in the high rafters for a cozy setting. The large soaking tub and comfy king bed were a pleasure on those cold days. The Cabin neighborhood area was quiet and peaceful, and Milca, the woman caretaker, went unbelievably out of their way to ensure our comfort and happiness. I encourage everyone to stay for at least a few days, if not more, just to enjoy the wooded camp atmosphere. Buzzards Roost was one of the decorated rustic cabins, with one large king-size bedroom, a large soaking tub, a wood-burning stove, and a loft with a queen bed. A Unique Stay!”

“If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The cabin we had was absolutely beautiful, everyone there was so accommodating and welcoming. The property was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. And at night, it was even more beautiful and romantic. We will definitely stay there again if we have the chance!!”

“My husband and I booked this one night getaway from our kids and busy life to relax and celebrate Valentines Day last minute. The property was very clean and we loved the soaking tub; it was our favorite feature. The bed wasn't very comfortable. It seemed to be lopsided and was very firm. Not at all as plush as it looks in the picture. The kitchen was stocked with everything one needed to cook, but not everything needed for romance. Bummer since its named the "Love Nest". There wasn't any wine glasses or even a wine bottle opener! These are items we are used to being available in an Airbnb. Considering these things and the fact that check in is 4p and having to check out by 10a; this wasn't the best deal for the money we paid and we found, after the fact, other options at better pricing, that would have been better accommodating. Overall it served its purpose and we made it work.”
