“We came for Easter weekend to visit family in Fort Payne. The location was close enough to family that it was easy to visit but also plenty to do in the area! Mentone is also a beautiful area so that was a huge plus. Our only issue was our phones kept switching to Eastern time despite us being in central time zone. Nothing the host can do about it, but something guests should be aware of. The space was great for myself, my husband, and our two young children. Check in and check out we’re both super easy. The place was exceptional clean. We really enjoyed our time with a lot of the falls being only a short drive. We will definitely be staying again on our next visit!”

“We had a great time with our granddaughters at this cute little cabin!! It was very clean, cutely decorated and the host was great about responding, even very late when we couldn’t locate our cabin…😊 The directions nor the coordinates led us to the correct place, so we did end up driving around for a minute, but the moment I reached out to the host for help she gave the exact directions and we found it right away. The location was wonderful too, very close to beautiful state parks like Little River Canyon and Cedar Falls, which made our trip even more special. “The cutest tiny home! We enjoyed this location right in the heart of Mentone! A short drive to Desoto Falls and Little River Falls. Less than 5 minutes to the hatter cafe and wildflower cafe which were phenomenal. We will definitely be back and wish we would have stayed longer! The location was unbeatable.”

“This was my first stay in a tiny home and it exceeded all expectations. Was shocked that it would easily sleep 6. Very nice home.”

“Very attractive and well laid out for a tiny house. The only negatives are the toilet paper is obviously the cheapest and most uncomfortable ever and the outside needs some pretty landscaping. Other than those things it is a fabulous place to stay.”

“My husband and I wanted a quick weekend getaway and this was perfect. Plenty of room for us and everything worked as described. Comfy bed too! Wi-Fi was spotty but wasn’t a problem as we wants to unplug!! The only thing that bothered us was the ramp up to the porch and front door. It was a little precarious to navigate in the rain and being wet…I think it’s probably temporary until a more permanent entry can be built. Very responsive and accommodating owner! Thank you for everything!”

“It was disappointing to enter the cabin that first afternoon to find it 40 degrees inside. It took a while to warm it up. Why didn’t the host have someone turn the thermostat up? Also, the road into Mentone Mountain tiny homes had trash strewn all up and down the road, not a good first impression.”

“We enjoyed a quiet stay with our daughters. It was a short convenient drive into Mentone, where we enjoyed Little River Canyon and DeSoto Falls, as well as some great dining at local restaurants.”

“Cabin was very cute and clean and location was excellent. Owner needs to invest in new pillows and towels. The couch is also worn looking a nd not very comfortable . Otherwise everything was good, really liked the fireplace.”

“Nice location, but would reccomend getting there before sunset. It's hard to find at night even with written instructions. The road was nice to bike ride on as its pretty quiet. Grill has utensils and is propane, and fire pit was nice but firewood isn't provided. There was a beautiful stray or local dog. Super timid, but made grilling outdoors difficult. Indoor fireplace was nice, but no clear instructions. Wifi worked great after working with the host to get it running. Locking the door to go on an adventure was simple after a little investigating. It was a nice little weekend getaway after we got everything sorted out. Restaurants, shops, and state park are in close proximity to the house. There are cows in the back pasture behind the house that you can hear, but it didn't bother us any!”
