“Our little family had so much fun. We really enjoyed everything- the animals, the pool, the hot tub! Everything is so beautiful and peaceful. We definitely will have to come back with more time.”

“Kylie cleaned the place and even left chocolates for us. The place was nice and the view beautiful. The hosts responded quickly to any concerns. We had an issue with the hot tub and it was taken care of quickly. The employees were friendly and helpful. The drive was a little nerve wracking but the view made it worth it. Thank you! We enjoyed the stay”

“We love everything about the site and our cabin!”

“We absolutely LOVED our time here. The cabin is spotless and comes with all the amenities. The area around it is perfect for adults and children alike. The views just a few steps away were phenomenal. We plan on returning very soon with our kids. Definitely a must stay!”

“Beautiful views just a few feet away from the cabin. Hot tub was amazing and we loved it. Had a blast in the Chattanooga area during our stay. Information about the property and some questions were hard to hear back from the property manager about, but we found our way around. Would recommend for a weekend getaway like we had. ”

“This place was perfect for my family of 4 to stay at. It was clean & exactly as described. We loved the pool, animals, & stunning views. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a family friendly stay with plenty of fun without having to leave. There is a Dollar General 9 minutes away, grocery & Walmart 15 mins away, and a 30 minute drive to Chattanooga if you want to have some outside activity options. My kids loved it! Our host was great, supplying all the need to know information ahead of time & responsive. Book & enjoy!”

“We had an amazing time. There were some quirks with the place but they are upgrading continually. We will stay here again!”

“Absolutely adorable space it was spotless! We will definitely be back! Pool area was amazing!”

“We had a great night here! The cabin was cute and the private hot tub was great! Our kids loved all of the activities in the pool house! The views were incredible! Just a quick 30 min drive to all the fun things in Chattanooga. We plan on going back for sure!”

“Clean, cozy, beautiful setting”

“Was a great stay!”

“Very clean - nice little cabin - secluded from the city - view on the overlook was great - would recommend the stay -”

“Beautiful place! Last minute booking and still had an easy check-in! Wish we would have had one of the front units because they had an amazing, unobstructed view! We were able to still enjoy the view from several lookout points. We jumped in the hot tub - it was on and warm for us! We visited with the goats and chickens! I would recommend grabbing your groceries prior to checking in as the nearest store was about 20 mins away.”

“This place is very peaceful and has lots of amenities!”

“Fun place, my boys loved it”

“Highly recommend. I would love to stay here again. Our cabin was perfect for our needs. The views are stunning! We had not so great weather for our trip, but we didn’t mind at all. The pool and hot tub were wonderful and just steps away. The staff that we had contact with was very friendly and helpful.”

“great little mini vacation”

“My daughter and I came for a getaway for spring break. It was peaceful and relaxing. Use the back entrance as the front one is super steep! The pool Was steps away from the cabin and the views were phenomenal! 30 minutes to everything. Very convenient!”

“Very quiet!! There were families staying in other cabins but it was still so peaceful. The views are amazing. Our cabin was so cozy, we didn’t want to leave! 9 min drive to dollar general and a 15 drive to Walmart. 2 seconds from the Tennessee state line. We love that the location was away from the “city” but still close enough to go to the store or the Lodge Cast Iron Museum!! We will be booking again! ”

“We loved our stay! The place was just as described. The view was amazing!!! My son enjoyed all the fun things in the pool. We will definitely be back if in the area again.”

“Beautiful location, easy to find, and clean. We enjoyed our short stay here and wish we had more time. Definitely will have to plan another trip out for longer and enjoy all the amenities and all they have to offer.”

“Beautiful cabin that has everything you need. Hot tub ready to relax in and a big swimming pool just 20 metres away. The views are incredible from the look out point and there is a hike at the bottom of the driveway to a tri state corner point. Have a morning coffee, while enjoying the company of the goats, horses and hens at the nearby farm. There is an early check out for anyone having a weekend getaway. Overall fabulous place that lived up to its expectation and thoroughly relaxing experience to recharge the batteries.”

“Beautiful landscape and very clean cabin with a jacuzzi. Thank you we will be back. The view of the mountains is breathtaking…grade is steep, Ill bring my truck next time my Prius barely made it up that hill lol. A regular car would be fine my hybrid hates steep grades Note: stop in town and get groceries before heading to your cabin.”

“Enjoyed my time at the cabin. Nickajack is a must and make sure you view it from.both sides. Finding the marker where TN GA AL state lines meet was interesting. When driving to location use the back entrance which is easier to navigate. When”

“Love this place!!”

“Great stay- the kids were obsessed by the pool! Beautiful views on the property.”

“Great property, well take care of! Pool area is beautiful, and lots of places to take pics with a beautiful background! Mr Hill’s Mercantile is the perfect size, plenty of fresh towels, plenty of dishes too. Only thing we noticed is our tv must have been on someone else’s frequency because it turned on on its own a few times!”

“Amazing views, beautiful cabin, honestly the perfect little getaway!! The pool on the property reminds me of great wolf lodge with all of the activities for people and kids!! The hot tub was amazing and so was our stay❤️ I came here with a friend for a birthday weekend and I am so happy with my experience! PS- if you come here while it’s raining you can see over the clouds below the mountain it’s insane!!!”

“This lil place was so awesome! We really enjoyed our stay at The Mercantile......it was super cozy, very clean & the Hot tub was perfect! The heated pool was a huge perk for us too! The views around the property were beautiful...even in January. Plenty of walking space...we even got to meet some of the critters including the friendliest "unofficial boss" doggy 😊 Hosts were very nice and always quick to respond. would definitely recommend!”

“This stay was a treat. The views were epic.”

“thanks for hosting us. this place was great to visit and spend some times during our holidays. the hot tub was an amazing experience and we really enjoyed it! Sylvia was fast at responding and the instructions were clear. thanks again!”

“Very nice resort, especially the indoor pool. A quick 30 minute drive to Chattanooga. The fridge did smell very strongly of fish, which I’m sure was from previous renters and not the host fault at all. Overall we loved our experience and would definitely stay here again.”

“This cabin is VERY COZY!! The views are beautiful and the amenities in the community are nice (hot tub, fire pits, farm animals, and indoor pool with slide). Make sure you bring food because there isn’t much around that’s not at least a 20minute drive.”

“We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back next year. Great communication and the place has everything you need or want!”

“Wonderful views and wonderful host this will definitely be our annual trip spot”
