“These cottages are small and rustic...but you don't need much more than that when you come to enjoy the outdoors! Lake Huron is literally steps away from the front door. And the firepits and barrel sauna make it cozy even on cooler days and nights. Don't forget to look at the stars.”

“Positive: Beautiful setting, private patio, right on the lake, clean cabin, easy access to property. Negative: The Wi-Fi was not good. Sitting in the living room the Wi-Fi signal was one bar and we would lose connection to the internet frequently.”

“The cottage was perfect for my husband and me. The cottage is right on the beach. We loved having our own fire pit. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathroom was newly renovated and had a great shower. The beach itself is beautiful and we had an incredible sunrise. The rental agent was very easy to communicate with. The cottage was easy to enter. The cottage also had good lighting which is often poor in many units. We will definitely return and will take advantage of the sauna next visit.”

“My family and I loved this spot so much we didnt want to leave. The beach is all white soft sand and the lake is crysyal clear. The cottage was perfect for our family of 4. Very clean, comfortable and even had tvs in bedrooms. The coffee bar is so cute and has everything you need to make a cup of coffee and sit by the water. We got up early and watched the sunrise both mornings. You wont want to miss that view over the lake. Our host Sage was very responsive, helpful and easy to talk to. We are planning to rent out all 5 cottages next year for a family reunion! Counting down the days till we are back at Greenbush cottages. Thank you Sage and unique stays for the most memorable family vacation.”

“We loved our stay. It was a little more pricey than others in the area at the time, but we wanted the quieter beach and full bathroom. I love a bath tub and nobody ever seems to have them, so that was a nice touch. The sauna was great as well and the beds super comfy. The tv didn't get a signal but who wants to watch tv when you have the beach in your front yard? The paddle boat was awesome but keep in mind you have to drag it across the beach.. not easy to do even with 2 people. There was a glitch with air b n b saying only I was coming, and not my husband and 9 year old too but the host fixed it right away. I understand needing to know how many are there, but unsure why we were charged more as we didn't exceed amount of people. I can see if we had a lot of people but we didn't & still had left over toilet paper, paper towels etc. charge wasn't that much, but keep that in mind & double check it updated properly or you may have surprise charges.”

““It was serene, fun and relaxing,” said my 16-year-old son. My 14-and 21-year-old sons agreed. We loved that the cottage was right on the beach and near a couple of restaurants and grocery stores. Sage communicated well and was always responsive. We would definitely return.”

I needed something to do(I can't sit still) so I cleaned up the fire pits & chairs & beach area. the property does need attention. but on e I cleaned/fixed our cabin and got rid of the smell, it was quite cozy. there's some cute details in the cabin. but some serious ones that need addressed as well. now that I know what to expect there, I would definitely go again!! because it is so beautiful & peaceful. but wasn't what I expected & was looking forward to. I believe with TLC it could be AMAZING. but with it being a company ran airbnb, it loses that personal touch. and the trust is placed on others to keep it up to par. people have different perceptions of that. I've looked at the company's other cabins and properties. they look good. so I don't know if it was just cabin #5 or not. but again, I would return, more prepared. in total I'd give it a 4 ⭐️ thank you”
