“Stayed here with four guys for a two-day golf tournament down at Sweetens Cove, and the location was awesome—only about 15 minutes away.The place itself was great, though fair warning: the drive up the mountain is pretty intense, but the payoff is 100% worth it. The views from the property are incredible, and I can only imagine how cool it looks in the fall with all the changing leaves. Definitely want to bring my wife back here sometime.If you stay here, definitely go grab a bite to eat at Riverdance nearby—the food is great and the views are unreal. Highly recommend!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Pop and Granny’s cabin. The home is beautiful, views are breathtaking and our boys LOVED “the hut (as they named it)” upstairs. Additionally, the home offers all the amenities you could ever need, there’s an indoor pool on site (kids loved) and small farm petting zoo. There’s always something to do at the cabin! The cabin is also 30 minutes outside of Chattanooga, close to a hiking trail where you can stand in 3 states at once and there are many nearby restaurants and a local coffee shop which were all amazing. “We stayed for a night prior to playing golf all day at Sweetens Cove. For a golfer, this might be the greatest golf experience that so many know Little about. Popping Granny’s cabin was only a 15 minute drive. Me and six of my best friends enjoyed the sunset views from the mountain top as we shared stories and laughed about all of our golf experiences in the past. Waking up and getting to see the incredible panoramic view from the deck was the right way to start the day. If you’re looking for a place that is reasonable with plenty of beds and close proximity to play Sweetens Cove. I highly recommend booking here. Seven grown men slept comfortably and had a blast. As soon as we book another tee time at sweetens, the cabin will be the next thing we do!”

“The view from the cabin was amazing. It was well stocked and beautifully decorated. The driveway is really steep so keep that in mind. Contact with the host was great. The pool area is really nice. The only complaint was the windows were filthy and we spilled some water on the floor and cleaned it up with a paper towel and the paper towel was black when done so apparently they don’t mop the floors which is gross. Also they apparently don’t dust under the furniture either, so many dust bunnies. They might want to invest in a different cleaning company. Towels were well stocked along with soap and essentials. ”

“My family and I were looking for a place a little outside Chattanooga that we could relax at while still within range of going into the city for different attractions during our vacation. Let me tell you, these accommodations did not dissappoint! Pop & Granny's cabin is set right on the bluff with stunning views from both the windows of the living room and from a stunning porch which looks right out over the entire valley below. We arrived at 4:00 p.m. on the day of our arrival and they were just finishing up preparing the place for our stay. The cabin is beautiful and cozy. The master bedroom is on the bottom floor and there are 3 large beds on the upper floor along with a "hobbit hole" room that my daughter enjoyed sleeping in immensely. The pool house was great with a hot tub there, and we also had a hot tub outside at our cabin as well. My adult children enjoyed the firepit at night and the views day and night just kept us looking over and over again. I knew I had absolutely made the right choice when I got up the first morning of our stay and my wife and I went out on the porch with a cup of coffee, sat in the rocking chairs, and watched the mist in the valley slowly melt away. This place is great! I will definitely be keeping this place in my mind for future vacations!”

“Great place that we enjoyed. Quickly we felt like home, had all needed for good time. Few things that in my opinion would have help, like more info about the location and what ca be done. Info about the best hiking trails, info about what can be done in resort, if going outdoor watch and prepare for the ticks. The grill outside can get a better setup and utility. Around the resort the landscaping could be improved and show some care about details, also the pool table by the pool is falling apart. Easy fixes could show more care and love for the place and guests. Thank you ”

“This was exactly what we were looking for-a clean, comfortable place with a beautiful view and mountain feel on our way to Savannah to visit family. The weather was perfect for one of the days, and the other day it was rainy and foggy, but we spent that day going to Ruby Falls. It cleared up in the afternoon. We spent evenings around the fire pit in which wood was provided and we brought our own outdoor chairs that were more comfortable than the benches provided. We also grilled out using the grill on the property, and there were plenty of silverware, dishes, glasses, pots and pans etc. Everything was just as pictured. All in all, a wonderful getaway. “We had a great week! The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed all the amenities like the pool, hot tub, fire pit, bbq grill, etc. We loved sitting on the porch looking out over the mountain. We had some deer and two bald eagles right outside our cabin. Driveway is a little tricky but we just used the back entrance and didn’t have any problems! We loved the wood cabin feel, had more than enough space for the 5 of us. I would definitely stay here again. ”

As other reviews have said, blankets on the bed are thin so you may want to bring extras to be cozy. The hiking trail from the property was hard to locate and we just ended up hiking elsewhere. Kitchen isn’t super stocked, fyi, and no dishwasher - but it was fine. I’d stay here again for sure!”

“Overall, wonderful place to stay. Beautiful cabin with an even more beautiful view! Every encounter we had with staff was respectful and professional. Our issue was minor maintenance that has been over looked. The downstairs AC barely worked, thermostat set at 68 and rarely got below 74. Upstairs, one room had basically no air flow whatsoever, other rooms were cool. I checked both air filters and it appears they haven’t been changed in probably 2 years. (We have pictures) The master bath shower handle fell off the first night, we reattached it. The master shower and upstairs bathroom sink barely drained. Every door in the cabin squeaked loudly. Again, we loved our stay and would recommend to others, but the maintenance department needs to step up and do better.”

“We had an overall great experience. The place was private, the surroundings were beautiful and the amenities were great! My kids loved the horses and goats. The one downfall was the excessive amount of stink bugs in our place. It made it just uncomfortable to sleep and relax due to the amount of bugs we had to kill everyday. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay.”
