“Myself, son and 3 grandchildren spent 3 nights in Unit 1. It was very spacious, clean and a nice surprise. 2 full bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, and a loft. It was well stocked with every thing you would need in the kitchen and bathrooms. Tv's in the living room, loft and both bedrooms. Would definitely stay there again.”

“Beautiful loft! In unit, washing machine had mold, but there are other clean machines down the hallway (which we didn’t see until the last day). A little loud because of the industrial look with high ceilings, but worth the stay.”

“Communication with our host was great, and check-in was smooth. The Airbnb was nicely decorated with a cozy city vibe and affordable. It had a fully equipped kitchen—with dish soap, dishwasher pods, Keurig pods, spices—and a full-size fridge, despite the listing saying mini fridge. The main bedroom had a rain shower we really enjoyed, and the river sunset view was spectacular. My niece and nephew loved the cozy loft, their “treehouse.” Some cleanliness issues: floors weren’t mopped, and barefoot feet got black quickly—bring slippers. The washer was smelly and had a loud spin cycle that shook the floor like a mini earthquake. Beds were firm, pillows flat—could use replacing. The apartment was noisy with hardwood floors and thin walls; earplugs provided but not enough for all, so bring your own. The hot water heater was impressive, keeping water hot through 8 back-to-back showers. Towels were short on arrival but quickly replaced by housekeeping in the morning.”

“Very roomy accommodations with a full kitchen plus a washer and dryer. We stayed in the same unit last year (see previous review), and we can see the damage that other guests have done to the unit, particularly to the bed and the dishwasher. It's a shame when people don't respect others' property.”

“We stayed in Niles after going to the Notre Dame football game. It was a short 20 minute drive and well worth it! We were able to enjoy dinner at the Iron Shoe and walk home! There were 6 of us and we were very comfortable. We definitely plan to be back!”

“Unit 1 is not huge inside, but could sleep 8! Very clean and updated fixtures, appliances and furniture. Walls are a little thin but all neighbors were quiet after 9pm. Niles is super convenient and centrally located between South Bend, New Buffalo and St Joseph. No complaints!”

“Everything was great and just as described. I appreciated the available washer and dryer inside the Airbnb. The only thing I would suggest is it would have been nice to have some extra blankets. Also some tea. There was lots of different coffee but no tea. The location was great for our family gathering. We enjoyed the walking path right outside our window. We also enjoyed the coffee shop, 2nd and Main. We ate dinner at the distillery and it was delicious!”

“Absolutely LOVED our stay here! Clean, spacious, and private! Great view lake side as well, very nice with sunsets. The only thing I would say could be a little better was the bed frame itself, it was very sensitive and noisy when touched. Other than that the place was absolutely amazing! Will stay again!”

“Very nice loft, but because it's a corporate/professional building, the windows don't open. That didn't occur to me when I was booking and if I had realized, I probably wouldn't have booked a stay. There was a ceiling fan in the smaller bedroom and one in the living room but not in the main bedroom, so the air flow could have been better. Otherwise a lovely venue and communicative hosts.”

“The sofa bed shouldn’t have been advertised. Only 3 beds were usable. We needed 4 beds.”

“We stayed here with a group of three during a business trip, and overall it was a great spot. The location was perfect—close to great local restaurants and easy to get around. The space was extremely clean, and communication with the host was excellent. Just a heads-up for business travelers: if you need three separate sleeping areas, note that the loft bed requires a bit of a climb and is open to the living room below. Sound does travel easily throughout the condo and from outside, so keep that in mind. Still, a solid option for a short stay in Niles.”
