Very cool place. Very comfortable and very unique. The shower was large and living area very functional. The exposed brick & air ducts made it really cool and a great vibe. The place itself had a cool record player and the decorations were very unique and fun. The host was very nice and had great instructions. Overall the place was great. The area was a little interesting but very much standard of the city. The building and place itself were exactly what we were looking for. Would like to have been able to use the shared balcony but was too cold. Had a shared washer and dryer available as well.

The Loft was a perfect place to stay during my work trip! The having its own private parking lot was really beneficial and location in Benton Harbor was great too. The loft itself was perfectly laid out with a nice size kitchen area/living room as soon as you walk in. The bathroom was awesome too and had all the amenities you need. And the bedroom was good as well with extra sheets if need be for those cold nights. Having access to a washer and drier was really nice to have especially since I was working. The restaurant downstairs serves unique, tasty food! I recommend stopping down there at some point for a bite to eat.

Kenneth's loft was absolutely fantastic. It was beautifully decorated, fully equipped with everything we needed, and the restaurant downstairs was excellent! The only downside was the surrounding area, though it seems the neighborhood is on the verge of improvement.

Great design and vibe. Place was exactly as pictured and Kenneth was great with recommendations. He was an amazing host and truly appreciated his prompt responses and recommendations. Loved the record player and bought some vinyl at the near by shop to enjoy at home.

Cool and well appointed loft! Close to St. Josephs beaches and lighthouse, and downtown. Easy access and good parking. We weren't bothered by the Houndstooth restaurant below, but you knew it was there. The Brick House restaurant is also nearby. We experienced their food truck earlier this year which was fantastic! Also, it is a loft, there are 25 stairs to the second floor. That was the only real drawback. I would return to Kenneth's place!

Nice bungalow with easy access to the lake, restaurants and shopping. It’s in an area that’s still somewhat a work in progress, but the amenities are excellent and worth the stay. The history of the area and building is interesting. The host is helpful and having private parking is a nice added bonus. Bring your vinyl and enjoy the sounds on the turntable provided. Relaxing.

Came to town for work and it felt like I was transported to an alternate universe, my wife and kids were home and I got to enjoy this very clean luxurious space all to myself. It was quiet, clean, the shower was a whole treat in itself, and everyone I encountered in the area was polite. I will definitely be booking this again should I need to work in the area.

Location was 5 minutes from downtown St. Joesph and the beach! Check in and check out was very smooth, and the Kenneth checked in to make sure it all went well. Airbnb was super clean with great amenities. Will definitely return in the future!

Bonus: My daughter and I were able to walk to a local restaurant, (Brick House-delicious!) There is so much happening in the Art’s District, and this space is centrally located to it all. We had a great stay at Ken’s. His place was great, the loft was very creative and thoughtful. The surrounding area was a bit underwhelming (up and coming area) but St Joe is minutes away as well as beaches and entertainment. Mason Jar Cafe down the street was worth the visit. Houndstooth restaurant below the loft was quite noisy, I’d recommend ear plugs if you aren’t a night owl. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

This was one of our favorite Air Bnb experiences. The place was decorated to perfection and Kenneth had many thoughtful touches. It was really a beautiful loft. We enjoyed staying in Benton Harbor in the Arts district. A great place for exploring the area! Our hosts were great communicators and that was appreciated. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed this loft space - so well restored, spacious, and comfortable with all the right amenities. The "Houndstooth" bistro on the street level was definitely a highlight and saving grace to the otherwise economically deserted area. With this in mind, Kenneth's pricing seemed well in line and we felt like was appropriate given the surroundings. He could probably charge double in a more thriving environment. Also enjoyed the close proximity to the dunes and waterfront.

Beautiful and very cool little apartment. The noise from the local bars and restaurants was minimal and at any rate was gone by 10pm. The apartment was tastefully appointed and even had a little turntable and LPs to listen to. A real hidden gem. Much more enjoyable and a much better value than any of the local hotels. Looking forward to my next trip to the area…I’ll schedule a stay here in a heartbeat of its available.

We absolutely loved staying at the Romantic Gastro Loft in Benton Harbor. Ken's recommendations for dining were wonderful and there were many places within walking distance. The arts district was right up our alley to see inspiring art and repurposed materials. We loved the touches in the loft, especially the turntable, books and sip of bourbon! Thank you for making our stay a lovely getaway for the weekend.
