“It was a perfect house, location, and service for celebrating my dads 88th birthday!!! We loved the porches, hot tub, the view, and the cattle! It was lovely.”

“Amazing place to stay with a few friends! It was the weekend before my boyfriend’s birthday and some of his friends came up. There was six of us in total and we had plenty of room. It’s such a beautiful home and the view is even more beautiful . Thank you for this experience?”

“Better than advertised! Beautiful house, beautiful view, and plenty of room. Would highly recommend!!”

“Great place!”

“Our Family of 7 enjoyed our stay. The place was peaceful, quiet and the scenery was beautiful. Nikki made sure the place was extremely clean. Everything you would need for a home away from home was provided.”

“Great place!”

“This was a beautiful house and property! We will definitely come back to stay.”

“Great place to stay ! Not sure why the other guest left only 3 stars. The property does have a bathtub. Will book again !”

“We had a great time here on our girls weekend! The cabin comfortably slept the 6 of us and the house was just as described. We loved our bovine neighbors and the proximity to DeSoto State Park and Mentone. We would definitely return!”

“Positive: We loved the location of this property and the coziness of our rental. Negative: The only thing I would suggest is blinds or curtains on the bedroom window.”

“Positive: We loved the location and the whole place in general!”

“Positive: The view Negative: I liked everything”

“First: book this place immediately. It was spotless, stylish, and loaded with amenities. Second: the bathroom and WiFi situation are not as described (in a good way). There is now a full shower, not a clawfoot tub. There is also WiFi, even though the listing says otherwise. The home is safe, quiet, and peaceful. My family stays in Airbnbs all over the country, and this was one of the best we’ve ever been in. If I’m offering any advice, it’s bring some bug spray for outside (standard when you’re out in the country), and know how to use an induction oven. Also, the house has a ton of character, and I think the property would benefit from more of a local touch than a big rental management company. There’s more to this, but I don’t want to discourage anyone from renting here. What’s the story of the house? We wanted the history! It’s the kind of house that breathes a story.”

“Positive: The property and surroundings were beautiful. Sitting on the front porch was certainly a highlight!! Negative: There were some issues with cleanliness. The property managers did come and respond to our concerns. It’s our understanding the person charged with cleaning the house is no longer employed and they apologized profusely for the issues. Another issue was the number to planks that are loose within the dining, kitchen, and living areas. We tripped many times on the surfaces.”

“Positive: It was a beautiful scenery, the home is beautifully decorated! So calm and serene! Negative: The place needed dusting in the ceiling, list of cobwebs! There were some gfci outlets that need to be replaced. The yard was very unkept/Grown over. Only half of the jets in the hot tub were functional.”

“Beds were clean and comfortable. Decor was very pretty. The view from the porch was amazing!”

“Positive: Good location. Very quiet and homey. Negative: It said 2 full baths, it's not. There is a full bath connected to a half bath. The house is not well laid out. You have to go to the half bath either through the full bath or a bedroom. The bedrooms are all in a row and very inconvenient if someone is already asleep.”
