“We thought the place was beautiful. The host was super responsive and friendly. Our kiddos love the pond in front of the gazebo, and enjoyed the decor in the cabin. It was very clean and spacious. Loved that they even had a dvd player with movies & a couple board games. Kiddos also loved the slides & pool and was super thankful that there were puddle jumpers for them use. We ended up checking in at 7pm the night before we had to leave, went inside to turn the hot tub heater on because it was 59°, and went straight to the waterslide for the kids. The hot tub still wasn't warm when we got back an hour later, fed the kids dinner, and then checked the hot tub. Still wasn't warm. Only 61°. Unfortunately it was too late at night to figure out what was wrong & we went to sleep for our early departure this morning. Was a little bummed about it since we chose this place specifically for the hot tub. Still 5 stars though & we would return as long as there's a working hot tub next time!”

“SPECTACULAR Views…What an amazing, little, hidden gem right here in Alabama!! I would give this little spot 1000 out of 10 if I could. Well appointed, fully stocked amenities, very comfortable furniture and beds, spacious and adorably “cabin” decorated. If you’re looking for a quiet spot with a billion dollar view, then you’ve found it. My only complaint is we only booked for one night. My little family stopped for a quick overnight and I cannot wait to book a longer stay very soon. This little slice of heaven will not disappoint.”

“We stayed in the Turkey Hollow cabin at The Grant Summit and couldn’t have better things to say about it!! The cabin was spotless, well maintained and a equipped with all of the essentials for a basic stay. The beds were comfortable and clean linens/towels for every guest. We enjoyed the views from the porch and the nearby gazebo, as well as the private hot tub with a spectacular view!! It was the perfect getaway not far from home and we will be back hopefully very soon and often! Sage was a wonderful host and responded immediately, when needed. The entire process from booking to checking out was completely seamless! 5 stars!!!”

“This was a beautiful and private location. We had a fantastic time. Turkey Hollow had a beautiful view overlooking the river. The cabin was well stocked with cookware and super clean. The fire place was cozy, they supplied plenty of firewood. We definitely will be booking this place again. There is a lot to do, we enjoyed Rock City, the incline and Ruby Falls. We highly recommend eating at the Boathouse along the river in Chattanooga. This was a fabulous experience.”

“We decided at the last minute to make our day trip to the Tennessee Aquarium into an end of summer overnight stay for four school-age cousins. What a great decision! What makes this place special: The view was amazing, the space is generous and well stocked, and the hot tub was a nice amenity. We watched the sunset, watched the bats fly out at twilight, then enjoyed finding constellations that are hard to see at home. The 6YO found lots of snails and snail shells, and in the morning we saw deer. You feel like you are part of nature with all the comforts you need.”

“The place matched the listing. Very peaceful and a great place to come an relax and to enjoy the view. Cabin was very clean and had anything we needed. The single path way in and the beautiful view was everything we could ask for.”

“Turkey Hollow cabin was very nice! The view was awesome. My kids enjoyed the pool, petting the animals and playing games at the cabin. The rooms upstairs had TVs, dvd players and futons for them to sit on. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit outside, used the grill once for burgers & made s’mores in the fire pit. They have wood to use for the fire but you will need to bring your own fire starters. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook but be sure to take charcoal & foil for the grill out back. I would also recommend taking extra towels for the pool as I had to use and wash the ones from the cabin. There was one for each of us to use for the time we were there. They did supply laundry detergent & dish detergent, but there is no dishwasher so everything has to be hand washed. They also supplied some coffee, creamers and sugars but we had issues with the coffee pot. Hopefully they’ll replace that for the next guest. All in all it was a great visit! I would recommend to families!”

“We loved the cabin itself — it was in a beautiful location with stunning views, very clean, and exactly as pictured. It was cozy, pretty, and made for a great setting to relax. That said, communication with the host was disappointing. The listing mentioned we could reach out about early check-in, so I did the day before. The host asked me to message at 10 a.m. the next day, which I did. She replied asking what time we hoped to arrive, and I said maybe around 2–3 p.m. She said she’d check with her team and get back to me, but I never heard back. I followed up again around 2:30 to ask if we could check in about 40 minutes before the 4 p.m. check-in. That message was ignored completely, and there was no follow-up or apology after. When we arrived at the official check-in time, the cleaner was still there finishing up. Overall, the cabin and location were wonderful, but the lack of communication from the host took away from the experience.”
