Our beachfront Lake Huron cottage rentals sit on the shore in Greenbush. Near Dowagiac, the Sister Lakes cottages share a lakeside community, and homes in South Bend and Granger fit the whole family dinner.
Many of these unique stays in Michigan have a fire pit or a game room, and several sleep 10 or more. The three Lake Huron beach cottages book together for up to 24 guests.
On Lake Huron, the Greenbush cottages sit near Sturgeon Point Lighthouse, whose grounds stay open all year. The Cedar Run trail at Harrisville State Park is close by too.
After the turkey, Fernwood Lights opens in Niles on Friday, and Potawatomi Zoo in South Bend hosts Happy Holly-days that weekend.
Notre Dame plays away at Syracuse on November 28, and the Basilica of the Sacred Heart holds a 10am Thanksgiving Day Mass. South Bend’s Howard Park Ice Trail opens the next day, November 27.

“Cute cabin. Would have like better outlets. Had to move the microwave, toaster and coffee pot to spare bedroom to use. They did provide a wheeled cart for that. It was clean and we had a lovely time. The beach was amazing and the sun rises were beautiful. Would stay again.”
